@@M1szS pretty sure they have other connections :).. But still, 22MB.. To be honest, in Romania doesn't exist anymore.. We have like 1GB connection at home.. And for example, in the office we have 10 GB :)

I have 8.8gb per second connection but it is limited to 2.2gb/s wireless, but if i get thr right device and right cable, i can get on an average day 8gb/s and on very good days 9gb peaks

For everyone saying this is slow, remember that individual devices on the network are probably limited, and are consistently getting these speeds. The total speed is probably 10gbps+, they just cant give that speed to every device.

Generally you just use some QoS on wifi the limit is probably the router itselve as you just use like 10 per floor each with a cheap 1Gbit link

Google is running on fiber with a ton of employees connected. The latest MacBook that he’s using and stuff can go at the 1gbps+ on upload speeds. Not sure about the chromebooks that I’m sure most employees use.

What’s crazy is we had similar internet speeds in an apartment in Singapore that we were staying in during a holiday in 2017! The apartment had a fibre cable connecting directly to the router/modem combo unit and 7 years ago those speeds were crazy! :)

Keep in mind that the WiFi at google’s hq has to simultaneously give all their employees constant 180+mbps. If only a single person was using it it would probably be over 10 Gbps
