How a firework electric match (e-match) is made! E-match is used to connect fireworks to electronic firing systems in order to light fireworks remotely.
While visiting China I was able to visit an e-match manufacturer to see how they are made. I was actually not intending to make this into a video, but after reviewing the footage, I thought it might be interesting to those who use e-match.

I have used e-matches for our firework show for around 10 years and I never really appreciated how much work goes into making these. I knew it was a lot of work, but now seeing what is all involved including the machines necessary to turn this product around and now I know why they have a 99% fail proof guarantee.

Really nice to see this, I know fireworks is handmade business but all the fine steps it takes just te make this wire. And to think that this is bought in bulk by the hundreds. Good video, glad you shared it!
