It can’t be “baiting” if the cops do their jobs 🤷‍♂️. Pretty simple

that's not right. "baiting" is the ACT OF BEING suspicious with the sole purpose of gaining the attention of police officers to test them in how they handle a situation. regardless of how the cops do their jobs. you don't bait a fish by him biting the hook.. you bait the fish by throwing the line, worm and hook out there FOR the fish to bite. auditors, regardless of which side you're on.. absolutely DO bait cops. that's a fact.

Yeah I've seen videos that isn't just recording. They terrozie citizens. It's not just cops. Or they terrorize citizens til they call the cops to get a reaction. One guy goes up to cop with his hand in his pockets or in back of his waist band. They all say I'm working on a story I can't disclose any information. None say I'm a youtubeer, They ain't press! TONES overthinks it, Frauditor Troll, Schrodinger's Cat (which had now passed) has some good videos, Ragical the Unhallowed Knight, Van Ballion (good 1 to watch). Do go to the frauditors channel. If do read their comments. 90% are against them other 1s they just hate cops. Plus they pay for their subs to make it look like they have a big following. I've never heard of this guy.

It's really a training issue combined with someone looking for a reaction. In fact most of the training I do with public servants I remind them to "thank" the person doing the audit for helping to protect our rights. Eventually, most police officers will understand this as a form of public outreach and an opportunity but you will always have ill-informed employees at some level. It's one reason these auditors pick on small towns, small post offices, etc. They have less formal training and gaps in understanding many times.

@@BatManokov typical response from a supporter of “first amendment auditors”. Time, place, and manner restrictions are not a checklist to see if you’re allowed to perform expressive activities on public property. They’re simply ways the government can restrict expressive activity on public property. An example of a time restriction would be prohibiting people from protesting after 9pm as to not wake anyone up. A place restriction would be to prohibit expressive activities in a certain area. A manner restriction would be to prohibit certain expressive activities such as no filming or taking pictures inside the building. I encourage you to read the Supreme Court cases, Perry Education Association v Perry Local Educators Association and Ward v Rock Against Racism.

@@ohnoitsthatguy09 Quite possible, my interpretation is that you are saying the officers can't be baited, because they were going to break the law anyway? If that is the case, what I was saying is that most of the officers in these videos didn't break the law, the auditors are "usually" arrested for either legal reasons, such as doing something that is actually illegal and not protected by the 1st amendment rights, or in situations that are in a very "grey" area that is really going to have to wait until the supreme court weighs in, and in the meantime is at the discretion of the officers and eventually the local judges as to if they are causing an issue, violating other rights, and etc. Now, the different attorneys I asked could absolutely be wrong, I am just going off of what information I have gotten from legal experts, the court decisions in these cases, and the amount of risk they would face if found to be wrong, which isn't the best thing to use, but when combined, gives me more confidence in my view. If that is not what you meant, then I of course admit to being a complete idiot and total spanner, not the first time, not going to be the last.

@@HicSvntDracones hold on…… see there’s where we disagree. There’s thousands of “these videos” and most of them I’ve seen contain officers using authority they don’t have, because no law was broken. If no crime is reasonably articulated then there is no “suspicion of a crime” and suspicion alone without a crime is not a crime and does not permit detainment or arrest or a name. And that’s where the hang up is. It’s nice how you just assert “the auditors are usually arrested for legal reasons, or grey areas”. I don’t think you’ve watched enough of these videos or had the experiences yourself. I’ll say it again, officers can’t be baited into trampling the bill of rights. they either don’t know the constitution(bill of rights) and the oath they took, which is obviously most of the time, or they are crooked and abuse power knowingly. it’s one or the other.
