@@TheShapeshifter good to know. ive never liked razer products especially their scroll wheel and button feel. the o minus has the upgraded Kailh switches over the omron in mine. I am very curious about it! I wish they would make a lightweight version with no RGB (it kills battery life anyway)

@@drewmorg. l love the Viper Ultimate, but I felt like the mouse was too wide for me. Which is why I switched to the Model O Minus. I too agree the scroll wheel is meh and I wish Razer had a Viper Mini wireless. I would instantly buy that ngl.

at this point I think razer thinks the orochi v2 is kinda a viper mini wireless (wich is totally wrong since I own the orochi and I have owned a viper mini)

That's.. very interesting to hear. Not once did I ever have any software issues that ended up being caused by the mouse (not even with Davinci Resolve that I occasionally use to edit meme videos lol, Resolve tends to just fail by itself regardless of cause from my experience). Then again, I rarely open Glorious Core and haven't done firmware updates on it for a while. What I do see being other notable complaints shared by Bijan Jamshidi etc. is the sensor issues with the dongle though, as if it has to be very close to the mouse to have no issues (which appears to be from the comments due to USB power delivery, but not fully verifiable for all units), and definitely the early squeaking of the mouse wheel. The squeaking definitely happened early on sadly, but because I tend to have the dongle connected to the cable for charging the mouse, I didn't encounter sensor issues, but it's definitely something that needs to be watched out for. Still, this doesn't mean discounting problems in any way, it's just a matter of discussing the nuances for all of this. I'm sorry to see this happen on the unit you got. Also Glorious' support team's recommendation for the sensor issues wasn't really ideal either.

@@K.A-87 actually using that right now for a few months or so because i wanted something light and wireless. it was hard to adjust too, slightly uncomfortable because of how short it is. you get used to it, its not bad. the fact that its battery and not rechargeable kinda sucks.

@@pndr got both the orochi v2 and I’ll get the model d-. Tbh I just think that the orochi is a fingertip mouse for ppl from small to medium sized hands. I’m a girl and my hands are 16cm so the orochi was actually pretty great for me, better than the regular model o. So yah due to how short the orochi is I would recommend more people to get the model d- or o-

I think you'll be better off with the Model D or Model O, no need for the - size. I have a Basilisk Ultimate (extremely similar shape to a G502) BUT I main the Viper Ultimate which is closer to the size of the Model D (the Viper shape is very similar to Model O tho). I have smallish/medium hands as well and I prefer the standard size, not the - size. I did buy the Viper Mini but it was just too small for my hands. I let my gf use it when she wants to use my PC lol. I bought my brother a Model O wireless and it is very light but you only have 2 mouse buttons so if you use assign alot of controls mouse buttons keep that in consideration too.

I personally have a medium to large hand and I palm grip so I need minimum a model d , so I guess it depends on your gripstyle

The Aerox fits perfect for my hands, but I've been having some issues with the connectivity and clicking. Also if I press to hard on the mouse, it suddenly changes its dpi by itself, which is quite annoying. Other than that, I've been really happy with the mouse, and the whole reason I went with the Aerox was because it fitted perfectly to my hand.

Imo a smaller mouse is far better for precision, but then again it depends on your hand size. You could try an orochi v2, model d- or o- and if you don’t like how small it is you could just return it Yk

@@fade4203 true true, while I recognize the viper mini is super good value for money, that ambi shape just doesn’t work for me. If I didn’t have my thumb grove on my orochi v2 I wouldn’t play as good as I already do. But yeah I think you should wait for that if you like that shape
