more contact surface area doesnt mean more friction. Only contact force and friction coefficient. Basically mass and materials of mouse feet and mousepad.

There’s no way you’re buying a complete keyboard under 180 with hotswap PCB. I find your statement of hotswappable PCB as the standard to be incorrect. Walking into Best Buy and you’d be HARD pressed to find one that has that. Razer, no. Logitech, no. Hyperx, no. Steelseries, no.

As as someone who has used Logitech gear for over a decade at this point the only thing I could say in defense of this is that their customer support is top notch, like EVGA tier. Their software is trash, their hardware is solid (mostly), but their CS is amazing. They've replaced one of my keyboards 4 times out of warranty without a fuss because they didn't offer replacement key caps (which I offered to buy). Silly, but hey they don't stop doing it which is awesome. However, that's literally all I got. That price is absurd. If you're willing to pay that much for great CS then you do you I guess.

I loved the 502. Then Razer came along and fucking slayed the entire market, and quite frankly I was expecting SO much more from this "upgrade." They barely changed anything at all. Like....at all. How can they stand there and push this as a years in the making upgrade? I expected far more customizable buttons at the very least, and maybe do a little more to differentiate it from the much older mouse. With mice like the Razer Basilisk V3 on the market and honestly like 4 or 5 more out of their lineup that are lightyears ahead of the competition and way above par, a mouse like this is just...laughable, but in a sad way. Hugely disappointed in this product, I expected so much more from it 😒

Rappid trigger kinda sucks ngl! like if you even think about relaxing a little while playing a game with it and your finger moves it will register a key releases and you stop running or whatever so its A) press all the way down and dont relax at all or B) press it down just a little and press it down some more when you inevitably relaxes a little and let the button up. Guess you could change the actuation for it but naah, i rather just have it off because its just annoying either way! :P Halleffect switches are both great and under utilized tho! I also strongly dislike logitec products in general, every single thing ive had from them has been overpriced garbage that broke almost immediately! like my headset, it started crackling for no reason, the volume knob never really worked right, when i turn it the volume just goes up and down randomly in both directions and the pair my friend got at the same time had different volumes in either earcup so he returned them. those where like 260 dollar headphones btw.

I dont watch e sports at all, so i dont know much about it, but i feel like this isnt aimed for esports players. I think its fir regular people that will see it used by esports and just search it up These people wont have much knowledge on what features are super old and standard now vs actually innovative. I think its for those people. They just see the website, and go, those features seem good, and dont do much research further than that. Its backed up because logitech us a well known brand even for people not in esports, so anyone will recognize it over a company that makes keyboard actually only for professional gaming
