Nick and Jeff break down the changes from the Minotorum Field manual, the Balance Dataslate, and the new codex, and what they mean for the faction.

Very cool to hear Jeffery's take on sisters. I had the privilege to play him in a local teams RTT and I was the dude who lost a Rep Ex to that multimelta lol. All that said Jeffery was a wonderful opponent and I recommend anyone who can get a game with him, to do so. You'll learn a lot while your army explodes to melta fire lol

I would think to go for things that saw little to no price increase: Dominions, Battle Sisters, foot Canoness, Palatine, transports, Castigators, Arco-Flagellants, Novitiates, Priest.

Jeff wants some combat in the midst of the shooting. What do y'all think about sacrosants now? They now seem a legitimate alternstive as a resilent unit that can finally punch.

Gotta correct myself. We can't ignore the DG armor penalty aura. But we still turn off the rest.

Is it ignore characteristics mods? If so, it alters your save characteristic

My only challenge with Jefffrey’s focus on the Army of Faith’s choice of Strategems, is the dependence on Command Points, especially with the change in the Vect rules. I have had trouble basing a game plan on depleting resources…

@@mikkelkirketerp4884 the ability is worded "one unit from your army with this ability can be targeted with a strategem," so I don't think they stack like that. The ability has the same name on both datasheets too, so I don't even think the two different Canonesses stack with each other

The Sisters Codex is impressive, but NGL the quality of it really makes me (and probably other people) even more sour about the shambles of thongs like GSC and release Admech. Hopefully they fix GSC like they did admech but the fact it happens at all shows problems and general inefficiency. GW is only disincentivizing people to buy codices with this stuff. Maybe if they make it so codices only get sold at the end of the edition?

GW has been doing such a great job revamping the game. Macro-wise the game has never been more balanced. They’ve corrected admech. If GSC is really in such a dire situation then they’ll probably fix it.

Why do people still think the pivot / charge thing needs an faq??? Roll your charge. If you roll enough (9 for eg) pivot for 2. Move rest of charge minus the 2. If you dont roll the 9 you never get to move!! Who in the hell is moving 2 inches on thier chargers before you even roll the dice? If you dont roll enough to MAKE the charge then you never get to pivot in the first place. Using a pivot to shorten a charge is CHEATING

I think the concern is circle-based vehicles and monsters with overhang that don’t pay the pivot cost and then measuring from the hull, like Drukhari boats.

AOW, can you do a group prices? I just sign up to the War room yesterday to learn about sisters and love it btw. Love this podcast and want to support you guys. But now I have to sign up to patron to listen to part two? It makes me feel like I’m getting nickel and dime from you guys. It’s just a little frustrating as a fan that’s trying to support you guys. Thanks for the feedback, we used to have everything on our website, but with the increasing demands of having high quality video platforms, we split the video content from the podcast and made both of them cheaper than they had been. Additionally, the podcast team is largely different from the War Room team outside of Nick so having them separate has helped us to better analyze what each audience wants to keep improving.
