What I love about the shoes is that it promotes actually being worn. As compared to the Trophy room 7s which promotes putting them in a nice case or something. Idk these are gonna be my go to sneaker.

I think the aged idea is fun, but most ppl probably would have preferred a regular unaged Chicago 1, and especially with out the cracked leather, we'll still take these though.

These are straight fire. Def one of the sneakers i want most this year and without a doubt a candidate for sneaker of the year. Hard to beat a Chicago 1 and these L&Fs deliver in a big way. I would have preferred just a regular Chicago like the 2015s or an 85 cut of that ; but in this case the worn / distressed details are well done and fit these L&Fs. The worn / vintage look is getting a bit overdone and looks likely getting even more of that in 2023 but for the L&F concept i think it works very well. Hopefully with the rumored high stock numbers , seemingly wide availability and EA going out soon for some on these ; hoping that means many of us can take retail Ws on these. And as a collector myself , these are going straight to the toe for me ; one of my all time favorite sneakers and already with a vintage / worn look. I hope that means many of us will wear them straight away.

Definitely with Sir Buckets Esquire on this one. Would have rather we had a regular Chicago colorway. But I still got my 2015 pair. I do need these joints man. Heard it’s a large stock number so fingers crossed 🤞🏼

There’s a clip out there when Mike was initially rocking the Jordan 1’s and the sportscaster said “Look at those shoes.. those have to be the ugliest shoes I’ve ever seen”. Everyone was rocking Converse on the court at that time. Still stands the test of time of how classic Jordan 1 silhouette is still to this very day.

These will be the most produced AJ1 in history. Seems like all the boutiques and mom and pop stores are backdooring them already. But they will be available in large quantities at major retailers. So I wish people would stop paying resell prices. These are a must cop though. for sure. 8/10 for me.

Been waiting for these and the AMA 4s since the mock ups already in the running for one of the best sneakers of the year. The story behind the lost & found is fantastic love the mismatched box gives it a more nostalgic feel, and happy even at the resell price can’t wait for release

August 86 in the UK, the Jordan one was not the most popular silhouette from Nike. As a teenager I didn't see many on feet. Air Max 1s were number 1, then when the Jordans were available with the visible air unit they became more popular. Globally this classic silhouette has got full recognition as one of the Jordan range. Definitely want to cop a pair or two..... maybe a hatrick for nostalgia reasons 😉👊🏻❤💎

I’m giving these a 9.8 outta 10. The only thing that could have made them better is an exact remake true to 85 specs,minus the cracked leather. I think aesthetically they would have looked better. That’s why if I don’t hit on these for retail, I’m pretty sure I’m just gonna go the Vibe Remake Lab route.

As someone who has a pair of 95 Chicago's, I agree with Buckets that I would've rather this pair been a normal Chicago. The idea behind mass produced vintage is kinda funny to me and just shows that nothing is sacred. But with that said, I'm still gonna cop 😂 for myself and the whole fam if I can.

Crocs are a 10/10 for me too. Buckets should review the Salehe Bembury crocs. I do think these are a 10/10 for me too. Love the story telling on it…but Buckets honesty is needed. Good balance with both Buckets and Mr Foamers ratings.

I got these for my 12th birthday. I was a superstar in school lol. But yeah, had no idea what Jordans would become. Actually thought the black toes were way fresher than these and the breds but they weren't that common in 85.
