Welty may wear fake kicks, but he was DEAD ON about NFTs. I love the conversation about the Dot Swoosh stuff at the end of the pod. The hilarious thing to me is how the whole NFT craze seems to have come and gone before Nike could get this off the ground. RTFKT must be laughing all the way to the bank.

Kick game proper as always ! The Salomon’s are insane ! Great question and a great sneaker giveaway ! I’d have to say 17’s but I do love 15+. Such unique silhouettes ! The run New Balance has been on is just crazy man ! I would say those 990 v2’s are a little of a contender Love this podcast forever ! Amazing episode guys !

If the fabric can handle it, a quick wipe with a cloth damp with alcohol does the trick with mold. Had a storage issue and had a few kicks and some jackets have light mold and while I dry-cleaned the clothes wiped the kicks down and did a regular cleaning and it did the trick.

Got extremely lucky to hit on the L&Fs, stayed resilient and was somehow able to get my entry in on SNKRS, waited 1.5hours and never have been happier to see a $190 apple pay notification to go through 😁, UPS man didn't steal my pair and it showed up with no mold. Seriously can't beat the odds any more than that I feel like, so extremely happy been needing a pair of Chicago's forever and I've worn them non stop, they're my Sneaker of the year for sure!

I work in a retail space and we have had a handful of name brand shoes and slippers get moldy because of shipping and covid but that hasn't been a issue since Aug(ish)

Lost and found release was extremely disappointing. Tried for 10min straight to log into SNKRS with no luck. To get an L is bad enough but to not even get the chance to enter is just unbelievably disheartening!

A few pieces I saw predicted resale of the lost and founds to be about $500-600 so for those that missed out the resale price now isn't too bad in the scheme of things. I'm a bit like Welty, I just don't wear high tops so would rather spend the money on something I'd get wear out of.

Idk if you guys are familiar with the streetwear brand Kiy Studios, but they are on the wrong end of yet another Nike lawsuit, much like Warren Lotas & John Geiger. I’m curious on how Bape is able to get away with essentially bootlegging the AF-1 but these guys get hit with major lawsuits.

The SNKRS Nike app is awful, I’ve never been able to get any good drop. I hate it, but is the only likely way to get retail price without paying lots of extra fees on or getting finessed by resellers. 😞
