You probably need to HOLD the seek button. That's how older stereos worked at least.

u can add a line in socket for 12 pounds off ebay for the old headunit. Then lightning cable to 3.5mm male plug for iphone. Use phone for everything.

what would rate the FM radio, I find it a bit weak, doesn't pick up all the stations the old unit does. just waiting on a dab module to see if this improves things

Installed one of these last week, dab only works when car is stationary, swc only partially links, terrestrial stations are very few and don't lock on . It's currently on its way back to China. There's been a lot of sacrifices to achieve the £150 price tag. I should have known better. There wasn't one single feature that worked ok on the unit I had. You take your chance I suppose.

From my experience, navigation in these cheap infotainment systems for me is not working at all. Only good thing is you can have mp3 player with screen and movies if that is your thing.
