My son started tournament golf at five years old. They were starting them at the 175 yard marker on the fairway and he was driving the greens. He won the Central Florida division of the drive chip and putt as a 12 years old with a 248 yard Drive.

My son won Central Florida drive chip putt at the age 11 with a 238 yard drive. They only give you three chances to get it in the grid. He played the US kids championships at Jekyll Island Georgia the same year as Lexi Thompson.

Also 175 yards at 5 years old and at 12 he was 248? Too 7 years to add 70 yards? Stop embarrassing yourself. I’m glad your son plays and it’s great to see kids out there but at least keep the story believable

Me embarrassing myself you have no idea anything about the drive chip and putt they only give you three chances to put it in the grid. Stop making statements you know nothing about and embarrassing yourself. I could give two shits if you believe me or not maybe he was 5 1/2 does that make you feel better.

This brings back memories, when my son was younger the guys who teach at the range would ask me if they could film my kid to show there students how your supposed to swing the club my son is now in 10th grade he’s about a 3 to 4 handicap don’t practice or take lessons I guess I just started him young enough now it just comes naturally

I’m amazed and disappointed in the comments here. As a retired touring and teaching pro(6 major championships) I say to those that think this wonderfully talented boy has poor form, you don’t know what you’re talking about. It’s extremely good with naturally instinctive movements. I’d tell him to keep having a good time and don’t listen to people like the ones here. C’mon, people! It’s about having fun and he’s having a blast.

John Daley jr. LOL. Awesome! I will check out your website and support you. I taught in Chicago, Skokie and at White Pines, but mainly in and around Chicago for 17 years. Retired in 2021. Diversey and Robert Black were my go to places to teach. I love his effortless swing. I just hope he does not get into his head like most golfer's do when they start taking it seriously. Then, it's all about mind and muscle. LOL. Great video! Hopefully, Emory will end p playing HS Golf and then, who know. Love it!!!!! Thanks for sharing.

He’s not trying and is very relaxed. Just like everyone on a driving range. No consequences of a bad shot so go for it. The ones going left are out of bounds. Looks good on a range but on the course is a different beast. At least he is having fun though and he hits it sweet
