The GSW was left unchecked. East is focused on LeBron while GSW is punishing the West with 3s. It takes time until all teams are adjusted to their play. Now everyone is shooting 3s. Every team wants to beat GSW that every defense is designed to stop their threes and ball movement. Kerr was a genius because he saw that screens can be a good key role for their shooters. I’m a Bay Area native warriors fan……y’all have NO idea what these guys mean to us…..we spent DECADES being essentially irrelevant and then once we got Steph and the rest of the team rounded out now all of a sudden we are the third most valuable franchise in the world of sports. We have MURALS of these guys painted around the entire Bay Area (especially the east bay) and we are GOING to build them statues when it’s all said and done. We LOVE our athletes out here in the bay. You aren’t just an athlete , you’re apart of the community. And it really breaks our hearts when guys we really connect with leave. But even if you have to leave , if you’re a guy that’s made a name for himself here you’ll always be one of us, no matter what. You see this with the A’s, the giants, the raiders , and the warriors. There’s something about the Bay Area fanbase out here that pros just “vibe” with.

In all actuality, the 2018-2019 squad with Boogie was the best one. They just weren't fully healthy long enough to see it playout. Imagine had they resigned all the key players the next season (i.e., KD, Boogie, and Bogut) and then replaced Quinn Cook, Jacob Evans, and Jordan Bell with slightly better role players at similar salaries. With Klay beginning the next sesson injured and KD leaving for Brooklyn, GS has been in panick mode ever since; just grabbing at straws. Proof of that is not moving on from Wiggins and only being able to acquire CP3 in a Jordan Poole trade that included two young draftees and a pick. Let's not forget how they misused Wiseman. Ok. I went off on a little tangent. My bad, but yeah adding Boogie with everyone healthy and fully engaged with no side agendas would've been the most dominant team ever.

They peaked when the 2nd best team in the East was what, a nobody. LBJ got that East monopoly, injuries to Paul George, Derrick Rose, aging Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, the Celtics on a rebuild.
