giggs was exceptional , I was lucky enough to watch him live in the 90s, I always felt though that other wide players like lee Sharpe and Kanchelskis were underrated/unsung heroes

Kanchelskis was brilliant but he had some shady people around him and wated too much money, Sharpe was asked to move to left back by Sir Alex and refused and wasted his career after that/

The thing is how long he lasted. You would never see a player like that other Scholes last than long with ONE club. Even as he got older and couldn't make the same runs as he did when he was younger, he got better with passing and crosses. To last that long is just amazing.

@GoalRevolution I don't think Andy Cole gets enough credit now, there would have been no treble without him. He scored some of the best goals I've ever seen in my life, yet he's never mentioned in the same vain as strikers that came after him, like Rooney or Van Nistelrooy. I feel even Solskjaer gets more credit, because of that CL final goal.
