A Global Model for building generic monstrosities with no connection to the history, the culture, and the landscape. I am talking about this Athenian Riviera new project. I saw pictures of their plans last time I was in Athens. As if Greece is Dubai or some other rootless place. It is shameful. But they have no shame because they have no pride. If they had they wouldn't be building such crap.

Μα πως κάνεις έτσι και το συγκρίνεις με το Ντουμπάι, σε λίγο θα μας πεις πως θα κατασκευάσουν και ρέπλικα νησιά όπως εκεί!!!! Δηλαδή πως ήθελες να το φτιάξουν για να σε παραπέμπει στις ρίζες σου εκτός αν εννοείς να φτιάξουν τίποτα γύψινα καρακιτσαριά σαν κι' αυτά τα πανηγύρια της χούντας.

Just a word : BS. Do not mess what entrepreneurship does with what a country like Greece does. The correct title of the video should be -How Greece Is Becoming- "A Global Model For Urban Regeneration". It is weird, to say the least, a private entepreneur to talk like a Minister of a Government.

The people who are commenting that Greeks live in poverty, are either unspecialized workers or students or they're just lying. The minimum salary in Greece is currently 910€, and half a million of employees receive it. The work force is 4.22 million people. Almost half are self-employed or entrepreneurs making a lot of undeclared money. Also, many Greeks get money from properties they rent. Saying that Greeks suffer and don't have money to live is an inexplicable lie.

Food and clothes are more expensive in Greece than the UK. Same for energy last time I checked. Poverty is a relative thing. If you can't afford any unexpected expenses like replacing your broken refrigerator yes you are poor.

@@madk4speed Food, clothes and energy are CHEAPER in Greece!! Maybe you found a few products which indeed are more expensive, but for a family of four you need two-three times more money in UK than in Greece! I know because I'm talking with people there. This very moment, the energy price index website has the prices for electricity and gas in European countries. There is no comparison between UK and Greece...

The minimum wage is 780€, if you're an unspecialized worker! With 1-2 degrees you get 1500-2500. And the self-employed and the ones who have income from property they earn even more. Βank deposits of citizens are increasing steadily each year!

Ξέρω ότι στο LinkedIn υπάρχουν πάνω από 8 χιλιάδες θέσεις που δίνουν πάνω από 1200 ευρώ, αν έχεις τα προσόντα...Επίσης, πολλές Ελληνικές-διεθνείς εταιρείες (ενέργειας, κατασκευαστικές, ναυτιλιακές, τηλεπικοινωνιών, τράπεζες) αυξάνουν το μετοχικό τους κεφάλαιο συνεχώς και δίνουν μισθούς από 1200 πρώτο μισθό...ΑΝ έχεις τα προσόντα. Απλώς εσύ ΔΕΝ έχεις τα προσόντα για τέτοιους μισθούς. Πολλές χιλιάδες όμως έχουν. Αυτά.
