@Namrata Kapse, It would need direct Sunlight to bloom well..but if it's too hot (more than 33-35°C), Plz provide it only morning sunlight (for 3-4 hours). Please note that the size of the blooms would get decreased as soon as temperature goes up. Also, it would be much better if you grow French Marigold instead of African Marigold. @Shefali Gupta, 6 inch is fine but you can also use 8 inch if you like, plants would be much more healthier. Sure, you can bury the stem while repotting (near about 3 mm). Good luck and you are going to get lots of flowers very soon :-)

@IDK, We can...but African Marigold need somewhat rich soil actually or else, we don't get good result. For Summer, you can grow French Marigold.

@NANDINI BEHERA, if I am not wrong, you are growing the French marigold? We can see this mostly when there is a change in temperature. Did the temperature get decrease recently in your place? If yes, plz water very very carefully. Before watering, always let the top 1 inch soil dry out completely and turn out the soil a bit. Avoid fertilizing at this time and do only when you see some progress on your plant. Also, plz keep applying fungicide and pesticide on a regular basis. @Muhammad Nauman, thanks for your question. I am from Guwahati and hamre idhar bhi almost utna hi temperature hai. Garmi me French Marigold grow kar sakte hai lakin bahat jyada garmi me flowering thora kam hoga aur flower ka size thora chota hoga. Isse acha, aap Gomphrena, Sunflower, Rudbeckia, Galardia, Cosmos grow kar sakte hai jo bahat jyada garmi me bhi bahat ache se flowering karte hai. Sabhi ka videos upload karunga, abhi seedling stage mai hai aur mai ak video me sabhi info dene ka try karta hu (from seedling to flowering). Isliye thora time lagta hai :-( Aaap Zinnia bhi grow kar sakte hai aur Zinnia ko garmi ka king jana jata hai. Lakin thoda jyada care karna padta hai, bahat jyada Fungal infection hota hai.
