I was intrigued with the Old English Marigold. Very different leaf and seed. I bought one pack of French orange boy years ago and have been saving the seeds and growing from them each year since. Great video and tutorial. Thanks for sharing 😊👍

harvest the seeds from the orange boys, :> in the dead dried flowers

Kia ora from New Zealand Phill. Very good instructional video. The English marigolds look like what we call Calendula. Isn't it annoying when you get a 'dud' packet of seeds? But your display looks amazing. I just today started some seeds from the different marigolds I have in the garden. Thankfully ours grow year round. I've subbed to your channel. Nice video! Was a bit confused at first though as English marigolds are called Calendula here and French marigolds (Tagetes) are mainly just called marigolds.

Yes they all flowered.

Did you give them any plant food after they germinated?

No just water from the water butt. And I put them in a sunny spot.
