I feel like Ubisoft is just trying to milk as much money as possible before they dump this game. We've only seen worse for the past half a decade, and I don't think we'll see better anytime soon.

I'm glad I stopped playing this game. We've experienced a lot of issues for many years that Ubisoft still hasn't fixed. It's not enjoyable anymore, especially since many of my friends left the game. We're at the point where this game is headed for the dumpster. It's sad that I can't witness its downfall since I got banned for allegedly using a third-party system, even though I haven't used anything illegal. The game felt disconnected since the takeover.

the price maybe (inflation control) but adding a separate channel & cooldown like a twitch chat might help. I personally think the reason they wont fix this is probably because its a big economic hole (they probably want more gem sinks) to get ppl to buy gems since they have million gem packs with +5 megaphones $$ 🥲 and it ultimately contributes towards the usage of macro/bots since the come up is extremely anti noob overall being a veteran player who joined in 2010 it breaks my heart seeing the game like this i think they should entirely revamp the sbs into small # like social, ad, guild, etc kind of like how worlds have categories (showing they can easily do it because they've made other similar small QoL updates ) it really only takes small changes like these to even start somewhere 😮‍💨

agree, and I feel it too. I think initially Growtopia did this to reduce bot spammers or casino spammers but in the end this didn't affect them because forever the dark side will continue to exist, and the changes that Growtopia made had no impact at all, I mean it's okay if you remove Megaphone but remove Locke Megaphone is a bad decision because basically the system they created for Locke Megaphone is very reasonable and very difficult for bots to reach, bruuhh... BTW keep your content bro, the videos you bring are always comfortable to watch 👏

I stayed online for 1 hour, definitely close to 0 misuse of SB's. Only way I'd personally like it back on Locke is if its still the same price as it is now. It's very opinionated though, as with this video, As I'm on the side of not wanting to see random sbs. I like the fact that they now have time to breathe, and even so there's still people who just sb for the sake of it. Quote "I like kfc" good use of 280 wls.

I don't know why i got this video recommended to me. I have never kept up with growtopia after i quit it a good 4 years ago. All i can really say is i am glad i left before things got worse.

ubisoft just isnt to blame for this. Its the communitys fault for behaving in a way that enabled ubisoft to make this change(constant casino sbs, which rarely appear nowadays, before the change it was literally the entire chat). Sure ubisoft are scummy for even making it available through IAP but they did solve the core issue, which again was caused by the PLAYERBASE.

The game solves problems at the end of the cause, not at the root cause.

They quite literally should just reset the whole game from scratch so no one has anything. Reset the worlds, reset inventory’s, atleast then would the casinos have no real world locks and inflation wouldn’t be so large
