Its truly sad that ubisoft looks at growtopia as just a cash grab. They dont even put attention into the game, but it isnt a shock since they bearly put effort into even their main games.

The game hasn’t been fun since 2017 in my opinion, but MAN am I grateful for this game. Seth and Hamumu’s game helped shaped my life in so many good ways.

There is no one in their right mind who thinks Seth and Hamumu did a worse job managing the game than Ubisoft. There just isn't. Hamumu is only saying that because of a non-disparagement clause in their contract or something.

Honestly i quit growtopia around 3years back maybe i got it downloaded still just dont play it however I have memories of me in grade 3 meeting one of my best friends to this day from sweden half way across the entire world, both of us celebrate our bdays in the same month 14 days apart (this month) we are both about to graduate from g12 and im turning 18 in a few days. Met my older brother (not rlly but hes like one looking out for me daily etc like one) met so many amazing individuals that i still talk too. Even if the game has fell off imo the memories will always stay, years of memories

This is great explanation, i always wonder why they quit back then. Now i know why, i found this game around 2015/2016 and decide to quit around 2018. It was my absolute great times for me as i learn so many thing in this game including english and economy. Now i tried to comeback but its seems growtopia is became too complicated for me to even learn from beginning again. But that okay, maybe its because i just miss my old times so i carve it even tho i wont experience it again. I think both old days and new days is just different. But that doesnt make on of them is better. I bet those kid who found this game now is experience joy as same as me back then. So yeah...ppl who compare it to old days is just cant move on. Because they tried to getting those joy and happiness from old days.

Top tier content fr, so polished. I do miss the golden days of GT, all those friends are gone now… also seth and hamumu, said they wouldnt let ubisoft put ads in the game, (unless u want to watch a ad for gems etc) and now we have ad billboards, its so dumb.

I’m genuinely sad that the game is actually dying. When you log on to Growtopia, you’ll get spammed literally by bots all the time now. Most of the worlds in the menu are casinos. Almost every world I enter it’s usually filled with bots. Advertisements on account selling/buying, selling bgls, etc for cash. Worlds I enter there are countless links, extremely annoying. Growtopia’s inflation is out of hand. People could barely afford to buy the items they want. It’s basically a pay to win game. I might sound dumb but I don’t think they even care about all the spam bots that’s around the worlds. It’s truly sad that such a nostalgic game has turned into such a nightmare. 😢 I’m hoping just ONE DAY, the spam bots could be fixed.

I quitted growtopia a while ago but I never forgot the game and especially you. You inspired me to study economics and have video editing skills ❤ However nowadays I hate Ubisoft for banning me for no reason, I talked to them they told me I was a bot lol, rubbish. And I feel there is lots of people who got banned like me, I have a friend who got banned same reason as me 5 years ago but we don't even know how to spam, auto farm and stuff like this 🤣 We simply loved to farm and talk together, these assholes Ubisoft ruined my love for Growtopia.

Honestly I sort of disagree with the people who desperately want GT to be owned by Seth and Hamumu again. While Ubisoft is doing an absolute TERRIBLE work, it's still way better than what I believe Seth or Hamumu would've been capable of. I think if Seth and Hamumu still owned the game, it'd be already shutted down or then just sold to someone else (they were actually very close selling the game to Miniclip, proven by a server log file from 2016). Both (Hamumu the most) were DESPERATE selling the game. Literally they wanted to get rid of it badly (for understandable reasons). Back then cheating in the scale people do nowadays was literally never done, absolutely never and Seth & Ham probably didnt even expect it to get so much out of hands. When the game was owned by them, very many things were vulnerable for cheaters to abuse unlike nowadays (obviously there are still things abusable but ubisoft has done a great job fixing many of those exploits). I think it was absolutely needed for gt to be sold, probably a different company or atleast a different ubisoft studio would've been great, but ubisoft has done many good things for gt (much more than many people understand). I doubt Seth and Hamumu would be any better than Ubisoft Abu Dhabi fixing things like botting and other things, probably 10 times worse infact.

Those who owns growtopia has alot of potentional to be very rich. If they fix autofarms and bots which destroy the price of dls, they could've make dls price become expensive and stable not to mention they are the owner of the game where they can easily spawn dls and sell it around 5$ dollar each. Casino is the reason this game is still alive those player plays for casino and earn money by selling dls. If i own this game i probably would spawn dls and sell it. You can easily sold 5k+ dls in a day if you have a good connection all across the country player

❤ @jimpnotsimp I got falsely banned for "autofarming" even tho I didn't do anything wrong, and I felt targeted by a mod that was caught as being a pedophile [ Which is HollowDragon / TheThingIs ] and when I pointed it out to others, that's when I basically got banned, and even banned on the official discord server, it sucks being a 10 year old player that started this game at such a young age of 8, and just before I turned 18, I got banned falsely for AUTO FARMING, when I was farming HIGH TECH BLOCKS!.. dumbest thing yet, I love the videos you make Jimp and they really remind me of the old days and everything this game meant to me, to be honest I really feel like getting a Tattoo of this game sometime soon because I really was a loyal player that thrown as an outcast even when I was in the right proving my innocents showing screenshots of seconds before I was banned, yet I got rejected by @Ubisoft multiple times. keep up the good work Jimp, you know my discord still. ❤
