What else could he say?!! Where you really expecting him to say:"yeah it's true. I'm pulling a fast one on toto and Mercedes. I have been talking to ferrari behind toto" s back because these guys can't make a decent car and I'm getting tired of being overtaken by every schmuck on the grid and tired of looking look like an idiot and having to make up excuses every other week"... Even if it's true that he's been talking to ferrari, his answer would always be very similar to what we've hear from him yesterday. He would never admit to anything before puting ink on paper, that seems obvious to me...

@@race.9551 I think Leclerc is getting fed up at Ferrari. Wasn't there some talk in 2021 that he was upset with the team and now again? I can imagine him leaving and Hamilton take his place: Hamilton-Sainz duo would be more easy to manage and would probably work better together than Leclerc-Ham. Not saying Sainz would be accepting to be number two, but he comes across as a team player. Also, I am not saying this is a likely scenario, but I can imagine it happening.

@@lowi5630 your comparing a scandal that neither of the 2 championship contenders were involved in, versus a scandal where both title contenders were involved and one was seriously disadvantaged to favor the other to the point that it brought about a rule change, and a person got fired…… so no they should not be compared or considered in the same light ! I agree there has been many scandals but none as bad as what Mr Massi had decided was a good idea, he literally changed the rules to favour one over the other you don’t need to be a fan of either driver to see how wrong that was !!! It wasn’t the fault of either Lewis or Max, what should of happened was a red flag let both change tires then let them race at least there would be no controversy no matter who would have won !!!

"Ferrari has shown they know how to make a great car." Hamilton says... okay... why is LeClerc constantly having issues and even blaming the car. Either no, they don't know how to make a good car. Or one needs to finally admit LeClerc is lackluster. Let Lewis take the wheel and we'll find out if it's the driver or the car! 🏁

I cannot see a LeClerc/Hamilton swap happening. The best possible driver if Hamilton leaves is Lando, and he is under contract right now.

Schumacher replacing Lewis, that was a joke right ! Talent CAN NOT be inherited that why Schumacher has none. George has talent and has proved it. Schumacher wrote off TWO F1 cars last season and consistently had DNF's or last place. His qualifying performance is also a joke consistently not getting out of Q3 🤡

Hamilton is a second rate driver and though greedy does not deserve a penny more.He should pay Mercedes to drive their car.

second rate driver? where are you getting this from? haha he is a great driver and always will be, but honestly i think mercedes should just let him go, hes over paid as it is, so if pushing for more, show him the door and even buy him some ferrari suitcases to see him go! haha

Greedy? Mercedes is free to pay or not. It is a question of return of investment and négociation. I agree that paying 5 times as much to the driver that had less points than his teammate doesn't look like a good investment. Accepting a demand for a payrise looks even more absurd.
