Here’s a trick for the left and right problem. I have dyslexia and this always works so what you do is you think of the arm you write/draw with and if you’re left-handed, you will know that this hand is left so that side is left and if you’re right handed then when you think of how you’re gonna write something you’re going to use your right hand and you will know that’s right. I hope this helps! 👍

The left and right thing. Yeah…you’re not alone. Learning to drive a car helps, of course, but the whole “this hand looks like an L” trick is the worst, because it takes too much conscious thought for LITERALLY EVERY SITUATION IN WHICH YOU NEED TO KNOW. I usually think of the hand I’d write with as left (in my case), because that’s more automatic. Not enough, but it helps. The lane you have to drive on as right also helps, I think.

It started at the Strange Video Games video, sorta. After that one, 3 life videos, then the Ruby Nuzlocke, 2 life videos, Fossil Fighters, 4 life videos, and finally the Pokemon Ranger video is when the life videos stopped, and it's all been games.

I'm glad you pointed out that Jacob is actually the one facing a challenge. It's the same concept as people who play voice-activated controlled hacks, but Jacob had an even bigger challenge because he had to rely on a human (who didn't know their left and right) to register and activate the command, whereas a voice activation input control will understand and implement the command right away. Jacob is the true gamer and hero.

I would love to see the chaos of the inverse where Jaiden is the one giving instructions. Also, she mentioned the building communications skills, and I noticed toward the end he was telling her to go forward and back, not right and left, which I don’t know if there was an active discussion about it or if he just started doing it, but that was a smart way of getting around Jaiden being left and right mixed up because she does know which way you move in a Mario game.
