Changing careers -No experience. My question is what is the best way to go from AWS practitioner to Cloud Engineer ?

Currently working help desk, goal is to work in cloud. Currently hold AWS Cloud Practitioner cert. Started studying for Soulution Architecture cert but got hired and my new company uses Azure only. Should I pivot to Azure?

Encourage your employer to migrate some workloads to AWS 😃 Having someone like you with AWS knowledge on the team is very valuable.

You should wait until you've seen Python development, Statistics, Linear Algebra and Databases, I think the last months of 2nd year or beggining the 3rd year would be a good option. I encourage you to first take the cloud practitioner or solutions architect exam.

@@nicolasnarvaezolaya1992 Yeah, I'll go for this certification after cloud practitioner only but the thing is that I'll not wait until the college will teach me everything coz. I'm a believer of self-teach

@@nicolasnarvaezolaya1992 I believe in self-learning so i would have completed these topics before the arrival of 2025, and yeah for the cloud practitioner then i absolutely agreed from you and i'll complete the practitioner first and then only i'll go for the data engineer associate

As long as you are 18 years old (or 13, with parent consent) ! And can find the money to register for the exam.

Yes. Straight from high school or from doing a completely different degree
