Thank you for this, making a career transition at 31 to nursing and planning pre reqs and mapping out my ICU exp in the next 3ish years and eventually CRNA school! (Here's to coming back to this comment in 5 years saying I made it)

Thank you for the great info. I heard that some schools don't use any textbooks, would you share what textbooks you used for first year of CRNA school if any?

Also do you have your be super smart to succeed? Can someone who was average in nursing school succeed in CRNA school?

It depends on what you mean by average. Most crna programs will fail you if you get a c in even one class. Your GPA plays a pretty big role when it comes to getting accepted. So if you were a b and c student in college you can still get in but you'll need to retake some of your classes to both fix your GPA and show that you have improved as a student over time.

Did you have a great GPA when you graduated from nursing school? I found out that mine would not be able to reach 4, and 3.5 probably is the best I would get when this semester ends. What’s your thoughts on a low GPA for people who later on want to go for CRNA~ ❤

3.5 is still good. Focus on getting good science grades!

As long as you are alive just do what ever it is you want. I'm 34 and starting the process of research to hopefully get in 2 years from now. Let's do it!
