As an IIT BHU Passout working at an MNC and simultaneously preparing for UPSC, @@An_ony_mous bhai mains is of 1750 marks, there is no competition around UPSC, JEE ADV is just a exam with very difficult questions, but UPSC is more difficult to crack overall, the sheer volume of syllabus, as a person who has experience with both exams UPSC is much more difficult than JEE Adv...

Okay so actually about the JEE exams, math is generally the hardest section when compared to physics and chemistry. Recently I attempted JEE mains and only scored 26/100 in math which resulted me in scoring 97 percentile in math (top 3%). This paper becomes so much easier when physics and chemistry are considered too. Just a food for thought

When you say much easier you have to consider the fact that its much easier for us, but it might not be for students from other countries because they never learn half of this stuff so even physics and chemistry would be super hard for them.

@@ParthJha-tx3vw aspiring doctor? Assuming you’re a NEET UG aspirant. Worry about MLE later and crack NEET first. USMLE isn’t that difficult! The process to land a seat there, however is thrice as difficult as the exam.

What's tough is not giving exam after high school because that's when most of the exams even in other countries are conducted. The tough thing is its preparation. Other countries' student prepare with school as the lead while that's not the case in India.

And then there’s Cambridge exams. They are geared both towards memorisation and critical thinking, however, they put more importance on critical thinking. Depending on the subjects you take, as well as the exam board (yes, there’s multiple exam boards) is the difficulty of the exam. Some have multiple choice, most have structured questions, and a few have a practical or alternative to practical, depending on the subject and the exam centre’s capabilities.

This isn't basic probability like he makes it seem, it's very advanced binomials to even derive it, if you answer wrong it's -2 for that question even if you ticked 1 correct. Even if you get it wrong when you think you're right it's because the other options make just as much sense and if you make a tiny mistake those values pop out

As someone who's preparing for the IIT JEE exam, the reason why very few get into IIT is probably due to the huge population of India. Each family expects their child to get into great colleges let alone IIT. Being one of the hardest exams in the world, IIT only wants those who stand out.

You should also take a look at Instituto técnico de Aeronáutica's and instituto militar de engenharia's tests in Brazil. They require advanced, non-newtonian physics, absurd equivalent resistance calculations and hard calculus questions in a country where you don't even learn calculus in school. Most people take 3-4 years after school studying just to pass them

@@placeholderfornow4766Putnam's given by UGs in the likes of MIT,Caltech,Stanford and Harvard(top institutes in the world) while JEE advd is for high school engineering aspirants.Huge difference💀.Plus those guys are research oriented and have probably already won Olympiads.(Some of them have gone on to become nobel prize winners 💀.) Richard Feynman is a notable Putnam scholar for instance.

JEE Aspirant here. The Main second session is going on rn, I just gave mine on 5th. I got 96.25 percentile in the Jan attempt. Watching these kind of videos kinda boosts my confidence, cuz I'm giving one of the toughest exams out there and these videos make me realise that what my percentile actually means. It means that not only I'm better than 96% of the students giving it but also than most other students across the world as well. I don't let it get to my ego tho. The big game (JEE Advanced) is in 47 days and I'm using it all to boost my confidence. I'm telling y'all, it's a lot of work. Best of luck to all the people reading this who are giving there exams.

At 96 percentile you scored anywhere from 150-180 marks I believe? How does scoring 150-180 marks in a PCM exam "make you better" than most other students in the world. There are people who get international olympiad medals, do out of the world extracurricular activities, and also write pretty challenging exams themselves. That statement seemed pretty ignorant, but I am sure you didn't mean to hurt anybody. Good luck

Here's a question from my sister's 7th grade Knowledge Mock Test. This test is taken by the council members, junior prefects' from class V, sports captains, subject heads, et cetera et cetera. There are 80 questions in it. It was mainly a kind of a collection of riddles. So here's the question you've been waiting for. 64. The force of energy cannot be stopped if it is pushed or stopped to create small amout to no movement at all. It take Downfall to a large number for guest collisions and stopped the energy. When does the Downfall occour after?

@@bunnyff2970 it's easy those exams are hella easy compared other exams. Competitiveness doesn't mean it's hard, use ur iq please. Their is a huge population in India and sit for that exam but the demand is low and positions are limited in that case u need to get a high score. You're just a another indian who thinks their exams are in the list of world's hardest exams 😂

What I feel is that the toughness of an exam is decided by the selection percentage. For example, Gaokao is considered the toughest exam because its the only exam Chinese students have to give to get into college, though the questions are pretty easy to moderate. About JEE, though other exams are available and infact GATE and SAT also have opened lines for fields but still, JEE tops in terms of numbers. Other exams are tough because of paper. I personally feel, US students have a variety of options so they divide themselves in all the exams rather than going after a particular one.

You should look for the UPSC exam too from India it's tougher than the Jee not in the matter of questions but the syllabus the no. Of exams and it takes approximately 5-6 years to qualify it.

I took AP Calculus AB and BC in my junior and senior year of high school respectively. I got 5s but I don’t know if I could ever do those questions. Those seemed legit

Just to put in to perspective on how hard to get in to Peking University through Gaokao, here are some stats: Most province use a Gaokao paper which the total score is 750, to get into Peking, one need at least 680, there are six subjects in Gaokao, thus, one must score at least 90% on all test to get in (it is impossible for the majority of Chinese students. Not to mention Gaokao is just like SAT but no calculator is allowed and some questions are extremely hard. The average math score of Gaokao is 66% in 2022 and English average score is 80%

In that JEE 2nd question of probability i just calculated it as i know it will sound strange but i just divided 4 by 5 which gave me a 90% success rate and 10% fail rate and we have k/3^11 instead of expanding 3 to the power 11 i just looked at the options and only ontion 2) 123 and option 4) 75 were divisible by 3 cuz when u add their digits their sum becomes a multiple of 3 so it is divisible by 3 and after that i just picked the higher number cuz with power of 3 being so high it seems reasonable i know this totally sounds illogical but i just hve a different way of solving these problems hope i explained everything correctly

2.5 percent acceptance rate is for overall but ig 90 percent students are from general category which has highest percentile cutoff and less seats in IITs it is considered that if you cant get into top 50 colleges all over world then you will not be in iit for sure

Im Italian, my cousin studied Medicine here in Italy (he went to an international course so the classes were taught in eng), he passed USMLE with a score of 250 and above in all the 3 steps. I just started Medical school now and I'm starting to realize how difficult that must have been.

4:15 Just a small correction here, yes, you need a certain amount of marks on JEE Mains to do the JEE Advanced but you can also get into IITs with the Mains result (if you got AIR or in other words All India Rank 1 in mains). If you couldn't get a good enough rank in Mains but still got good percentile, you can go for advanced and see if you get a good rank there, which will also help you get into IITs

Wrong total bs. Where did you get this info from?? I'm prepping for the JEE btw. You can't get into IIT with your JEE main result.IIT M offers a BS program based on IISER IAT but you can't get in through mains.

Jee Main 2023 was the last *jee level* exam But NTA has reduced the difficulty level of JEE main 2024

Don't judge the book by its cover, it was just 27 jan shift 1 paper which was the case, rest you haven't seen it, check 9th april s2 exam if you don't believe.
