Planning a trip to Revolution Bike Park? Want to know how hard it is, and what to expect?
Today we are visiting Revolution Bike Park with the intent of answering the question 'How hard is Revs Bike Park?'. We will be looking at how suitable the tracks are for the average rider, and assessing the difficulty of the features on the trail.
Starting at Freeride line and working our way up. How far will we go before the tracks get too technical and the features to big for the average rider.
About Revolution Bike Park:
Revolution Bike Park is an uplift-assisted bike park nestled in over 120 acres of private woodland. Situated just over the Welsh border in beautiful Llangynog, in the Tanat Valley at the foot of the Berwyn Mountain range.
From fast and flowy red trails, rocky and technical black trails to rooty and steep pro lines, you’ll find trails to challenge even the most experienced rider and with one of the most efficient uplifts around, you'll get as much descent as you can handle in a day.

Legends. These are the walkthroughs all bike parks should have. Big jumps get the wow factor but we dont all have the balls or ability to do them we need more of this for average rider trying to build ability. Thanks.

I first went revs not knowing if I was good enough, but after about 10 visits I've become such a better rider. Freeride is perfect for anyone looking to progress on drops,jumps and berms. Most is avoidable and there's so many black options on freeride you can progress on. Highly recommend this place if you haven't been. I'd suggest sticking on reds until you can master them before hitting some of the black trails, there's a significant jump in skill required for those !

New to the channel, great vid , exactly what a normal mtb rider likes to see, it's great watching the crazy riders launching off the big gaps but never a realistic chance of me ever doing it. This has given a realistic view of revs for 90% of the riders who visit there. Cheers both 👍👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿.

I’ve only been to Revs once, about four years ago, when I won a place on the Madison Saracen Factory DH Team day. I only rode during the morning session, after riding the Freeride, Red DH and Ghetto tracks. Definitely found it a challenge then, but would like to go back sometime, maybe as a weekender with a visit to Dyfi, too. There’s a good reason why so many elite racers ride at Revs though…….it does have some seriously steep and techy tracks that need full commitment.

Great video and really good insight into the place. The said, if you go now it is even gnarlier than it was when you recorded this because there's been a lot of weathering. The freeride and red downhill are well maintained trails but the rest of the trails eg Ghetto, Poop Pipe, Main Line and Ginger Bobcat are almost all-natural and they've become really tough. Amazing fun but so hard 😅. Ffar Side is another level again and between the second section of Ffar Side and the start of Ginger Bobcat there's a middle trail that is absolutely disgusting no other word for it,hardest tech trail I've ever done. Having watched this video before ever going and then watching it again tonight having been 4 times I can say it's a really good video and really nice representation of Revs. I might ask that you abandon that 360 degree head cam though because it just obliterates all perspective of the trail...red downhill middle section deserved so much more 🤣

I'm going to Rev's in November, I'm just about an average rider I've done Dyfi but only the reds, what trails do you think I should avoid and what to try at Rev's? from your video it looked like I could probably hit the reds and bobcat.
@GoBikingMTB
@GoBikingMTB 2 жыл бұрын
Heya, Yeah, start on the reds and just take your time with it. If you don’t mind (smallish) jumps hit the freeride line first. If you prefer some tech hit the red DH first. The lower section of Ghetto isn’t too much of a step up from there (you can find this next to the Reddy Mcredface trail) so try that.

@GoBikingMTB
@GoBikingMTB 2 жыл бұрын

Which would you recommend more revs or dyfi?
@GoBikingMTB
@GoBikingMTB 2 жыл бұрын
That’s a really good question. Tbh they are very similar in many respects and I’m sure you’d have a great time at both. If you have to choose then it would depend on your riding preference: Revs is steeper and has more rooty trails tech trails Dyfi has a little more mellow gradient and has a lot of rock features. I’d probably choose Dyfi personally but that is mainly based on living a lot closer to it.
