Where do you park your car/van to ride these trails?
@UnlikelyReply2 ай бұрын
Cheers for doing this vid, I always feel that some of the big bike parks are portrayed as pros only on youtube. I think the bike parks themselves should put more content out which explains roll ability on tracks and bail out options etc.

Hey how much is the uplift pass? I’d be looking to come here with my son so would need to pay for both bikes. Cheers

I've been to BPW and Antur Stiniog - out of those two Antur Stiniog was certainly more challenging. Dyfi defo next on my list.

Legends. These are the walkthroughs all bike parks should have. Big jumps get the wow factor but we dont all have the balls or ability to do them we need more of this for average rider trying to build ability. Thanks.

I’m a beginner too. And I’m old. It’s nice to see your progression rather than Matt Jones doing 50 metre drops and getting enough clearance on a jump to clear a double decker for a change. Far more relatable.

Thanks Duffy, that’s what we were aiming for. Honest, relatable and real. There are plenty of pros out there to watch to incredible stuff but it’s pretty hard to learn from.

Great video and really good insight into the place. The said, if you go now it is even gnarlier than it was when you recorded this because there's been a lot of weathering. The freeride and red downhill are well maintained trails but the rest of the trails eg Ghetto, Poop Pipe, Main Line and Ginger Bobcat are almost all-natural and they've become really tough. Amazing fun but so hard 😅. Ffar Side is another level again and between the second section of Ffar Side and the start of Ginger Bobcat there's a middle trail that is absolutely disgusting no other word for it,hardest tech trail I've ever done. Having watched this video before ever going and then watching it again tonight having been 4 times I can say it's a really good video and really nice representation of Revs. I might ask that you abandon that 360 degree head cam though because it just obliterates all perspective of the trail...red downhill middle section deserved so much more 🤣

Things have changed a bit recently, they have added a new red called turns in the ferns. Definitely start with a couple of runs of super swooped and then maybe try out either el hippo or turns in the ferns. Once you’ve worked through the red maybe try 50 hits and and original dh track.

Wow! More of these please 😊 I missed what’s going on in this 360 vid to start with… I agree this 360 POV is a much better way for a visitor to a YT MTB Chan to assess a track. Going back and repeating a corner from different perspectives is easy and valuable. For example those steep rocky sharp switchbacks in the middle of the vid. They don’t look much in normal POV. But scrolling back and then repeating that part of the run with the reverse follow-cam view tells a very different (steeper) story. Consider editing the info to explain what’s available in this vid and how to use it. Lacking that may explain why it only has a few likes and this is the first comment.

I’ve only been to Revs once, about four years ago, when I won a place on the Madison Saracen Factory DH Team day. I only rode during the morning session, after riding the Freeride, Red DH and Ghetto tracks. Definitely found it a challenge then, but would like to go back sometime, maybe as a weekender with a visit to Dyfi, too. There’s a good reason why so many elite racers ride at Revs though…….it does have some seriously steep and techy tracks that need full commitment.
