As the director of a small dinosaur museum, museums only make you pay to see shit that’s publicly owned because gift shop sales aren’t enough to pay the bills and employees. Hell, even including money from admissions often doesn’t make up for operating costs. More days than not we’re losing money. I could go on and on about how much museum admissions costs are out of sheer necessity for most museums.

was gonna post the same thing. maintaining, restoring and housing ancient artifacts costs money. if museums dont charge the people who want to see them, how are they gonna afford that? solely by tax-money? that would be charging everyone, even if they dont want to see the artifacts. nux really didnt think his criticism through.

The issue is that as a public place, it should be paid for by taxes. Museums exist to enrich and educate the people's lives. To not get paid the correct amount because of money laundering people that are directing taxes elsewhere just proves the failure of our current system.

This show is just pure and simple insanity. It’s made from a genuine place of love for source material, but a willingness to poke fun at the absurdity of the comic world without feeling like it’s ashamed of those comic roots. And it’s not only hilarious, but it also has actual good heart and well written characters. God, I just love this show so much, can’t wait for season 5 and Kite-Man: Hell Yeah.

Harley is still putting her value in joker. The whole thing with joker only ever seeing legion members as equals, her realizing he never saw her as an equal.... she wants to get to the position where she'd be equal by his standards, even if he would deny it if she got in. If she got in, he would likely see the others as less equal then. But yeah, she's putting her value in what her ex would have thought in a dreamland.

It's kind of ironic that in life King Tut was like the least important pharaohs in Egyptian history, so much so that they didn't even BOTHER to loot his tomb, but because of that he's the most famous of them in the modern day. In a weird way King Tut got the last laugh. I can't help but think of BTAS whenever I watch DCAU stuff, and it REALLY hurt when Batman called Gordon his co-worker, in BTAS he even mentioned he thought of Gordon as a father figure...speaking of father figure this also reminds me of an episode of BTAS where Clayface made a little girl to scout around that Robin fell in love with. Except she didn't WANT to go back to his biomass.

Fun Fact: The Clayface hand is alive and childlike comes from an actual ability some Clayface have (yeah this name belongs to several very similar characters), and a very dark storyline that was even used in the 90s Batman the Animated series. Basically Clayface after a nasty defeat and slowly regenerating in the sewer sent a piece of himself off to scout...this piece took the form of a little girl, and became self aware and refused to return to Clayface...despite Batman and Robin's best efforts Clayface absorbed the piece, murdering the new consciousness in the process. Weirdly enough the show Ben 10 even referenced this but played it differently with a technomorphic alien sending a dog like blob of its self off to seek help, but in the end it said it can't absorb it back because its more like an offspring...and then flew off quickly leaving the dog like techno-blob in the care of Ben's (then) girlfriend.

KGBeast is an actual villain and was actually an A-list Batman villain. Batman killed him. Ok, he didn't. He sealed him into bunker without food or water and just left him there. And he stopped showing up in the comic (the character shelf life was at an end), so the running joke was that Batman killed him.

Batman intended to leave him there but a couple of issues later it gets explained that Batman called gcpd when beast passes out. He actually wasn’t shelved, they do occasionally bring kgbeast again later on and like in 2017-18 when Batman beats the snot out of the guy, kgbeast asks Batman if he’s going to help him out of the snow and Batman just tells him to do it himself.

@@legoben98productions Oh I have no doubt he popped up again. Nothing truly lasts in superhero comics. I am just retelling the anecdote of Batman killing KGBeast. A lot of people do not remember that second part, of Batman having him arrested, so for a lot of people it was just this memory of KGBeast disappearing after Batman trapped him. Nowadays it's easy to check that stuff with the internet and fan wikis, but back in the day only few grey neckbeards would've know his ultimate fate. Plus it's funny to tell people about that time Batman killed KGBeast, you killjoy. That and when he shot an immortal villain into space to suffer for eternity.

@@trifontrifonov4297 honestly the time of Batman setting a drugged up bear on fire just for it to jump off a cliff is a insane thing to tell people, yes this happened in the same era (a few years before like the start of the Neal Adams era). But arresting kgbeast was only mentioned and not shown, so I wouldn’t be surprised if killing him was intended but either readers or other dc writers got upset wouldn’t be new. Yeah it’s easy to check stuff online but people still wouldn’t check it for themselves and rather listen about it through someone else

Batman arresting yet another villain is not as fun, as him forgetting that he locked a villain in a bunker without food or water. People know that it's most likely not true, after all Batman is not a wanton murderer, yet just for that one second where their brains buy it and you see their faces. Just perfection. That's why if it's ridiculous enough even factually wrong anecdotes are ok.

Entire countries straight up moved from their original location. It was all won through war and the winner became the owner, returning everything to their original owner is just impossible because you can't say who owned it to begin with.
