Who I AM:
Hey, fam! I’m Anthony. I’m fired up about meeting you where you are in a real, relevant, and relatable way. Here on this KZfaq channel, we’ll be having honest conversations about finding our authentic selves by living life based on spiritual, financial, and mental freedom. At the age of 19-homeless and deep in debt-I turned my life around by becoming debt-free, and I decided to spend the rest of my life helping people avoid the same money mistakes I made. Today, by the grace of God, that’s what I’m doing every day with AO Enterprise. You can rock with me on Instagram @AnthonyONeal or online at anthonyoneal.com.

Its definitely possible. Two years ago i quadrupled my income after landing a very good tech job. I'm currently at $195k in my cloud architect role. Tech pays folks! It's life changing. @JuniorShepherd
@JuniorShepherd Жыл бұрын
@@marquisstrongchild7535 Depends on the pathway in tech you want to travel. Software development and coding will probably yield the fastest results. My preference was the tech support/infrastructure pathway as that was more my thing and that pathway typically is tougher. I would recommend that you do your research and figure out which direction you want to go in first. After that, start networking and connecting with people who are doing the same job you would like to have. LinkedIn is a great place to be to meet people. In fact, LinkedIn helped connect me to recruiters that were looking for my skillset and that's how I got to where I am. Most importantly believe in yourself and study! There's plenty of free and affordable education online. Soak up as much as you can and never stop learning.

Though boot camps are great for getting up to speed. The algorithm, design, and problem solving skills that you learn for years in traditional school isn't always picked up in the amount of time a bootcamp is run. Design patterns is a plus too. Great information! Thank you. Im 43 and I've been in mortgage 25 years. I have been beating my brains on how I can successfully transition to a new career with no luck. Insurance and tech are at the top of my list. I have no degree and so far the transition has been seeming impossible. I am going to sign up today. Thank you

I thought the mortgage industry was booming too but I forget that its based on market trends. I jst completed an appraiser course only to learn that AI is beginning to take over the industry making the need for appraisers increasingly obsolete…I stumbled across this as I was clocking in to my low paying job. I need more than a change…I need some dollars to gv me son a better life!

@35:00 In reference to question AO, I've witnessed over the years that mathematics is a major hurdle. It starts with youth incorporating a self-defeated attitude when it comes to learning mathematics. This continues into an individual as they become adults...and "tech" is associated with mathematics. A major turnaround is waiting to happen!

Being a Sales Engineer (SE) was a position in tech that was most fun for me. I didn't have the pressure of going out and making sales. I was there to demo the product and make it work in the client's environment. My pay was guaranteed. I dealt with the customers' IT department (if they had one) and used my IT skills more than sales skills to close deals. It was easy money for me, and I enjoyed networking with other people in IT across the city.

My only regret is going to a 4 year school getting a degree. If I could do it all over again, nothing but bootcamps, certifications and 2 year trade school. I preach this to younger people I know who wants to get in the tech field. Kind of intrigued now about Sales tech engineering and careerist.
