Shakhari Bazar is majority Hindu (80%). It’s a pretty large and historical place in Old Dhaka. Minority Muslims live among Hindus with peace and harmony. Some Muslims live outside of Shakhari Bazar but work in the area.

They make news by putting thousands of rumors to an incident. This video shows that everyone is fine. Even in my area the Rath Yatra is well celebrated from this. im a muslim Bangladeshi and we love to live peacefully in harmony with people of all religions here in our country ❤ my best friend is in fact a hindu and i respect her and her religion. Since im from Dhaka so i can only talk about Dhaka but honestly speaking, durga puja in Dhaka is huge. My family always visits mandirs on durga puja to see the pratima and celebrate alongside with hindus. We also used to go to a kaali mandir near our house on pohela baishakh because they used to held big mela (like a big celebration). Our school always held saraswati puja and we muslims and our buddhist and christian friends also used to go watch the puja wearing saaris and we had so much fun ❤

I'm a Bangladeshi muslims but I love my Hindu friends, they're living here peacefully except for a few bad events a few yrs ago. We dont care about religious differences since we are both bengali at the end of the day. Even in our schools we are taught texts about secularism

Please don't be offended 🙏. Because this is a truth. My ancestors used to live in bangladesh previously, they were farmer's. As our family was only hindu in the village, so the muslims neighbour used to waste our crops and torture in different ways. One day they wasted all our crops by releasing their cow in our field. That day my grandfather (father of my grandfather) got angry and killed two of them with bamboo and came to India 🙏

@@shivbhatt5536 The number of Hindus in Bangladesh has never decreased. In 1974, Hindus constituted 13% of the total population but it became 8% in 2022.... But the Hindu population was 8 million in 1974 and 16 million in 2022. This shows that the Hindu population has increased. If you say, we are forcibly converting them to Islam then the number should have been less than 8 million.... Now your question will be why the percentage is less???? Cause, the growth of the Muslim population is high... If the growth of Muslim population is higher than Hindu population, then it is natural that the percentage of Muslims will increase and the percentage of Hindus will decrease. But you always look at the percentage but not at the numbers... right? And this is where your misconceptions are created. And the media spread rumors. They will never tell you the population numbers, they will only show percentages to increase their TRP...

My root is from that part of Bengal (Now Bangladesh). We will never understand how Bangladeshi Hindus perform their(our) rituals and sustain Dharma with so many obstacles and torture. In this video you will clearly see police protection for even a para puja (local puja). This clearly indicates how tolerant the majority people of Bangladesh.

Apart from few incidents here and there; we the Bangalis from Bangladesh irrespective of our religious background love to live together in peace. Sawarkar and Shama Prasad Mukherjee RSS along with Jinnah and Muslim wanted division on basis of religion. RSS did not participate in freedom struggle of INDIA.
