Here in the desert SW of America, we see some pretty hot temps in the Summer. We try to get out before the sun comes up, because once it does, it's scorching! Sometimes you're just trying to survive to get back to the truck, I can't imagine trying to race in it. These guys are superb athletes, but heat stroke is deadly and I hope they don't try to push them too far in the heat. Smart move canceling that second race, just not worth it. Nobody should be racing in 100 degree heat.

Maplesville #24hrchallenge it was well over 100 degrees with 80-90% humidity. I’m also a Tennessee native so my runner up spot goes to, #RedBull Tennessee Knockout

Gets pretty hot here in Oz, summer time 35/40C, 70/90% humidity, obviously you live with it so ya get used to it, but out in the bush working hard, with all the gear on ya never really get used to it when the going gets tough, I’ve felt heat exhaustion a couple times in my life on the bike, feels suffocating, and hard to fight off once it starts. Lots of cool water over the head for extended period is a must. Older I’ve got harder to ride in those real hot days for long periods of extreme riding, I take my hat off to Jarvis, I got 10+ years on him, but he is no spring chicken either,but he is a lot older than his competition.

@@tylerboring8712 I don’t think ya dumb mate, but I recon America should get with the program and start using Metric, it’s a lot better, as a kid I had to convert everything for my Dad & Grand parent’s because they were old school, I’m glad Australia changed to Metric, it’s so much better. Edit , don’t be lazy, you realise how much us Australia’s have to convert listening or watching American stuff.?
