Hello beautiful people,
This week means I would have been in Korea for 5 years!!! It's still very surreal to me. In this video I talk about how it all came together in the most unexpected of ways.
How I came to Korea is a story about stars aligning and perfect timing. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Enjoy, Like and Subscribe :)

"Korea chose me" that line always resonated with me and this is one of my favorite videos of yours❤️. After some set backs,I'm finally in Korea.I'm lucky enough to be here with two friends from home and I now know that this was the right time for me to be here. PS:I've been placed in Busan🤭

I've just spend the last hour watching your videos and I've made it to this video and I can't help but feel the need to share with you how much I relate to your story. I'm 30 this year and I've spent the last 6 years moving from one job to the next, not because they weren't paying well or anything, but because I was unfulfilled. Like I should be doing something else and experiencing more. Even now I am typing this from my work desk when I should be working. I constantly feel like I shouldn't be here. When I was a student at NMMU I used to teach English online at a company called Pangea and I remember people speaking of the whole teaching abroad thing but I always felt like I wasnt good enough to do that. Like... how's a black village boy like me going to go to another country and expect to be taken seriously by anyone? But after watching your videos, I can honestly say you've given me hope that it's possible. Your story really inspired me so much so that I've decided that this week I will take that first step and go apply for my passport. Thank you Nolu🥺❤️

If you take black out of your sentence and say Village boy, you will find that your good enough. Wode Maya went to China straight from his village in Ghana not Accra Ghana but Takrade and he taught English and went to university. Your skin color does not define you but your village or community is stronger.

I honestly feel like you were called to go to South Korea, all the stars were aligned, just for you. This is mind boggling, the universe makes ways and means for us to manifest that which we desire.

This was such a beautiful story. This reminds me of me. It’s always been my dream to go overseas until one day my freshmen HS teacher told me she nominated me to go to China for the summer. No one knew about it but the teachers and the moment I stepped off the plane, it felt so surreal. Now my dream is to live overseas. Busan has always been ideal for me, maybe one I can. Love your video 💛

Curious why you wanted to leave South Africa so badly. You had a full time job straight out of Uni and you had a scholarship for masters studies with alot of funding. Seems like your life was on a great course in South Africa
