Nice video Mordecai! I like how you used your old videos and showed how it looked to use only your right hand and then showed the newer videos of the most efficient way to shoot staged pistols. Great info.

Hi Mordecai, nicely made video! I shoot gunfighter so, as you noted at the onset, much of what you said didn't apply to me but when I watch a video I'm also looking at how it's made and narrated and I enjoyed this one a lot. You made a comment about split staged pistols... we had one at CaC at the Alamo stage. But, maybe you were trying to forget that from all of the rain. HAHA

now, about "fanning" the hammer???

I don’t think “fanning” is the right word since it’s forbidden in the handbook. But I could do one on “slip hammer” where you hold the trigger down (kind of like slam fire). Thanks for the feedback!

@@mordecaithehuntercas Just read a post on the SASS Wire where they are comparing slip hammer vs pulling the trigger. It has been interesting reading everyone's comments on it. I see you are not slip hammering when firing. I look forward to your response to this in the future. Texas Maverick
