I went to school with Forest Whitley in 8th grade, crazy to see him in the game all these years later

I don’t get it, you didn’t get one ball the first few challenges. Throwing meatballs down the middle of the plate. When I do this the guy is painting corners like Mariano, and the fielders are robbing me of everything

I just wish I could hit better and actually do these Extreme showdowns.

Coming from a guy fairly new to MLB (only played last year's MLB and this one), there are LEVELS to hitting good. Best way you're going to get better is going to practice mode and batting against good pitchers that have a good pitching mix (curveball, cutters, Sliders, screwball, etc) and play UP a difficulty than what you're actually going to play at (you play on all star, practice on hall of fame). The more you take pitches, the more you start recognize then coming out the glove. Using the PCI is also practice within itself so yea you definitely have a lot to learn if you're new to the game and even then it's still difficult for the guys that's been playing some years so don't put too much pressure on yourself if you don't get good immediately
