I am from an Ethiopian Orthodox Christian background & remember trying to feel God in Church in my early teens, but I was picturing Jesus for God, as I had been taught... Alas my conviction in all of it was very weak! When aged 19, I read in the Qur'an the story of Mariam incl the words of Isa in the craddle: it was like a jolt to my heart! I knew immediately without doubt that this account was true - I cried bc I had always wanted the story of Jesus to be true but now I knew with certainty. Of course I eventually became Muslim...now some 26yrs ago alhamdulillah.

People, please look at both religions without bias and be truthful. Eternal life depends on it. I promise you I have searched with the most open mind through all these videos on Islam and Christianity and I can tell you with 100% certainty that Jesus Christ is the way and the truth. Please ask me any questions. Please examine the full life of Prophet Mohammed, the way he lived and his actions. You will be shocked. Then examine the life of Jesus Christ. After decide who you want to put your trust in. The historical evidence for the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus is overwhelming. Paul who wrote books in the New Testement literally killed Christians before seeing the resurrection of Jesus. What did he have to gain from accepting Jesus as God? Nothing. Which makes him 100x more reliable. He HATED Christian’s.

I was only 20 when I became a Muslim, I come from a very religious Christian family and I was myself religious, but there were many things that were beyond my comprehension. It was only after I started reading the Holy Quran that everything started to make sense for me Alhamdulillah. And now since almost 10 years I am a Muslim, I became also a niqabi 4 years ago when I got married Alhamdulillah, even if it isn't easy in Germany to wear it, and now I'm even more blessed because this summer I am having my first child InshaAllah.

As I dived deeper into my christian faith around 2 years ago and started to question the core beliefes of christianity , if those makes any sense etc., I wondered about all the contradictions within the bible and what the church says about jesus. How to Convert to Islam Feeding TEN Poor People No Shahada لَا يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللّٰهُ بِاللَّغۡوِ فِىۡۤ اَيۡمَانِكُمۡ وَلٰـكِنۡ يُّؤَاخِذُكُمۡ بِمَا عَقَّدْتُّمُ الۡاَيۡمَانَ‌ ۚ فَكَفَّارَتُهٗۤ اِطۡعَامُ عَشَرَةِ مَسٰكِيۡنَ مِنۡ اَوۡسَطِ مَا تُطۡعِمُوۡنَ اَهۡلِيۡكُمۡ اَوۡ كِسۡوَتُهُمۡ اَوۡ تَحۡرِيۡرُ رَقَبَةٍ‌ ؕ فَمَنۡ لَّمۡ يَجِدۡ فَصِيَامُ ثَلٰثَةِ اَيَّامٍ‌ ؕ ذٰ لِكَ كَفَّارَةُ اَيۡمَانِكُمۡ اِذَا حَلَفۡتُمۡ‌ ؕ وَاحۡفَظُوۡۤا اَيۡمَانَكُمۡ‌ ؕ كَذٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّٰهُ لَـكُمۡ اٰيٰتِهٖ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُوۡنَ 5/89. ALLAH does not accept you to the chatter in your law, but HE Accepting you at what you determine the law, then the successor is feed TEN POOR PEOPLE from the middle that you give to your family, or giving them clothes or freeing them Single female. Whoever does not get it is .THREE-DAY FAST. That is the replacement of the religion when you have sworn an oath, and keep your religion. That's how ALLAH explained to you HIS verses may you appreciate A foreign believer, if he wants to convert to become a Muslim, does not have to go through severe conditions such as withdrawing certain property or money, nor is it necessary to witness correspondence in front of the official office, but it is enough for him to declare himself to Allah who knows the actions of an inner-born man, And declared it in front of TEN POOR PEOPLE whom he ate like feeding his family members. If he has been married all this time then he does not need to repeat his marriage according to islamic regulations that apply as long as both husband and wife both admit to converting to Islam. That is the requirement for converting from a foreign religion to Islam, or also by giving clothes to ten poor people, or also by freeing a single female maid for a natural life. But if the third coincidence of that kind of way can’t be done then he can do a three-day fast. Thus Allah makes it easy for the condition of the replacement of religion to convert to Islam. At night, the husband and wife are not prohibited from mixing as usual. For them is not subject to prohibition as in Verse 58/4. #Makkah_in_Our_Hearts

The idea that the Judaizer's religion went on to be reborn as Islam contradicts the Islamic understanding. If the Judaizers (and other groups) influenced Muhammad's "revelations" then they probably were not authentic revelations to begin with.

Sadly Paul was not a prophet in the first place, and his name doesn't appear anywhere in the holy Quran,this man never saw Jesus in his life time yet he started writing his letters to Corinthians, Romans etc he is the founder of Christianity, because Jesus never taught Christianity,he never entered any church in his life time

@@user-hq2nz7cu6vI have studied the entire Book of Mormon also-and while there are some passages of wisdom and kindness and universal values, many passages are fictionalized unfortunately, and have some ethnocentric leanings. Racism is not part of Islam nor found in Quran, however. Nor is genocide permitted under Islamic jurisprudence , nor is collective punishment on any group of people permissible by the Divine in the Quran. One must ask how cruel or kind is one’s God Almighty, and which path will not create more havoc on earth.

As you have pointed out some issues in book of Mormon,there are issues in Qur'an too, like Jihad,war against the non- believers( which leads to many genocide in history like the ethical cleansing of Armenian Christians from Egypt at the start of 19 th century, practicing polygamy, hellfire , afterlife, immortality of soul etc derived from pagan religions. So ,one should examine all scriptures without bias to find out ,what is from God and what is not.

@@johnbrzykcy3076 This in reference to the jews and christians who know islam is the truth via their scriptures (since muhammad pbuh is mentioned in the gospel and torah) or via the signs they have seen (the authors of the new jerome biblical commentary who confess to islam being the restoration of the religion of jesus whom they claim to follow) and still do not revert to islam, so they knowingly hide the truth from the masses and deprive even themselves it's fruit

The boundary line being excellently drawn between the historical Jesus (PBUH) and the modern day christianity, I think it would be interesting if you kindly analyse the character of Paul (the so-called apostle) as his pivotal role in transforming judaic tradition can not be over-emphasized. Quran is quite clear that God will accept followers of other Messengers of God provided they practice and are strictly monotheists. They also have the option of following the Last Messenger of God if they wish. In this sense Islam and the Last Messenger are truly a Mercy from the Creator.

@@johnbrzykcy3076people had to follow the messenger of their time and place. Our time’s messenger is the prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Currently we don’t have any authentic teachings of other messengers.

@@johnbrzykcy3076That was the mistake many Jews did when Jesus pbuh started preaching. Meaning those who rejected Jesus pbuh from the time he started preaching have condemned themselves. Similarly all those who reject Muhammad pbuh from the time he started preaching have condemned themselves. Now you have heard the true teaching of Jesus pbuh but mutilated or twisted by Paul, then the choice is yours. How Paul could made sense to a man he never met physically and was never taught personally?

Very interesting. I'm not Muslim so I'm wondering how does islam recognize these original Jewish-Christian laws ? By the way, im glad Jesus Himself came to fulfill the laws. Otherwise I'd be in trouble because I'd be continuously failing to both understand and to obey those laws. Regarding the St. Jerome Commentary, I'm appreciative of the honesty by it's author. Jesus' teachings are indeed very important, both in Christianity and Islam. Although it's difficult to understand some of Jesus' teachings, we need to trust his words because He spoke about the Truth of God. Thanks again for sharing this on Blogging Theology. ( Maybe you could do a part 4 with a specific topic regarding the correlation between early Christianity and Islam, regarding the teachings of Jesus Himself ? ) By the way, which edition of the St Jerome Commentary still retains that reference to Islam? Respectfully..

Islam affirms the law that was sent through Moses and confirmed by Jesus, it also upholds pretty much the same laws within Sharia with slight differences, whereas modern Christianity treats the law as something that was supposed to be abolished and therefore isn’t required to be kept. In that sense Islam preserves the original Jewish Christianity preached by Jesus.

@@MaryamNuuraTo me, Jesus is the expression of God's love for us. You ask some good questions but I'm a poor example of a Christian because I don't understand, with certainty, who Jesus was. However I do believe He was the Messiah, the beloved Messenger of God, the Lord of the Cosmos and the Way to God the Father. By the way, I respect Muslims although I have difficulty understanding some Islamic beliefs. But no problem. I plan to read the Quran soon. Peace of God to you and your family

in the previous edition they reject a clear verse of their bible and discuss scenarios how to Avoid it but they discuss it truthfully, in the later edition they do the same plus they lie about Islam .. or to be precise they cover up, their scholarly thought about Islam.
