Hi Ebun, Good day. thank you for this video I have a few questions, I would like to start my PR process now. I did have a masters here in Canada and a bachelor’s from Nigeria. 1. My first question is whIch of the options would you advice I go for? 2. Also can you please drop the like to the CELPIP exam 3. Do I have to do WES? 4. I finished school in April so I have to wait till next year before applying 5. Last question 😅, what’s the next step after taking the exam Thank you, appreciate

Hi! Thanks for watching!! To answer your questions: 1. I’m not sure of your entire story so I cannot determine for sure what path is best. 2. Here’s the link to the CELPIP website - you can create an account here and schedule your exam date : www.celpip.ca/ 3. You may not need to do it since your highest level of education (masters program) was done in Canada 4. If you have work experience from Nigeria, you can qualify for federal skilled workers program with your Nigerian work experience. However, if you do not, then yes you’d have to wait atleast one year for your Canadian work experience and then qualify for the Canadian Experienve Class 5. Do you mean the CELPIP exam? Lol if yes, once you have that, you can begin creating your profile for express entry in your IRCC account. Hopefully, I answered your questions 💕

Hi, nice video. What program under OINP did you get a nomination for? International student stream? Masters degree?
@stevenosagie7744

Hi Ebun I got nominated for OINP international students stream and was told it’s not valid for express entry. I applied for PR non-express entry this month but I haven’t gotten AOR yet. My work permit expires this December but I already applied for extension since last month and I still haven’t gotten any response from IRCC My CRS score is kind of low and no hopes of getting ITA for express entry. Please what do you suggest I do? Do I hope on the non express entry PR application that I submitted(which takes longer to get processed) or take another CELPIP to improve my CRS score ?? Please your advise is needed. Thank you

Thank you so much. This video was helpful. I have a question: The work experience you gather as a student(both part-time and full time(summer & co-op), does it count towards the Canadian Experience route?
@EbunP
@EbunP Жыл бұрын
I did not work while I was a student, however, I’m not sure the work experience during school counts actually (maybe if you did a certain number of hours, I’m not sure) but i think you should double check that. Thanks for watching 💕💕

Congratulations Ebun. Please I’d like to ask if I should do my police report and WES evaluation before coming to Canada? I’m coming next month for a one year programme in Ontario. And should my husband also do the police report?
@EbunP
@EbunP 9 ай бұрын
Thank you!! Yes, you can do your WES evaluation before coming to Canada or immediately when you land, you can start the process here. I’m not sure about the police report, I think it expires in 3 or 6 months - please confirm before doing the police report so it is not a waste of time. The WES is valid for 5 years so you are good to go.

Congratulations Ebun. You said you didn't have to enroll for biometrics. Please, does that mean the one used for study permit suffices for permanent residency application? Also, did you submit just a Police Character Certificate from Nigeria? No such requirement for PCC from the police in Canada? Thank you 😊
@EbunP
@EbunP Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much and thank you for watching!! 🥰 No, I didn’t need to do another biometrics. I think they paused that since the pandemic, so if you have biometrics before, you probably won’t need to do it again. Yeah, I submitted a police character certificate from Nigeria - didn’t need one from Canada.

@@thetaiwoajayi ohhh. Really? I had enrolled for one for a temporary residence application (study permit) and read from somewhere that it's valid for 10 years for other temporary residence applications in the future. @EbunP
@EbunP 6 ай бұрын
Hi! I think it is important to add letter of employment, especially for your current job and payslips. For your previous jobs, employment verification letter should be fine (that’s the letter given to you by your previous employers which includes your job description, salary, hours worked, etc and printed with the company’s letterhead). Thanks for watching!

Why did you have to do WES when you also schooled in Canada?
@EbunP
@EbunP 11 ай бұрын
Hey! I did a post-graduate program in Canada and that was not my highest level of education at that time because I had a Bachelors degree - so I had to evaluate my bachelors degree from Nigeria. If I did a masters program here in Canada, then I wouldn’t need the WES. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!

Hey ebun I have questions to ask actually 🥲 1) I’m going for a 1 year program soon , what do I have to do before leaving Nigeria? Do I have to do the WES and CELPIP before leaving? 2) I don’t have up to two years work experience here in Nigeria so that means I have to apply for CEC. Is it immediately after graduation I need to get a job so it can be up to a year and do I need to to be retained? Honestly everything is just so confusing
@EbunP
@EbunP Ай бұрын
@@Reylanadel156 Hi! Thanks for watching! 1. Yes, you can do your WES and CELPIP before leaving Nigeria in order to be proactive, but it is not compulsory 2. Once you have your CELPIP and WES, you can begin the process with the federal skilled worker pathway even if it’s one year work experience you have. If you want to go through the CEC route, then yeah getting a full time job immediately after graduation will be key because you will have only one year post graduate work permit because of the 1 year program. Hope this helps!
