Today I am showing how I create outfits using basic pieces and building on them to become an elevated style. To put together unique looks for everyday, sometimes I create an imaginative scenario that informs the outfit. And this is a trick I think anyone can use while they are staring at their closet trying to dream up inventive looks.

The outfits are beautiful and individual, but simple at the same time. Perfect lovely style as always! I am only 19, but I love your style so much more than the style of the all-pink mini-dress zara-gucci fashion youtubers, who are in the same age as I am. Such a great video! I would love to see one for different evening scenarios now that Covid is winding down-going dancing with friends, cocktails, date night. Your style is so sophisticated and I’m interested to see how that translates to the nighttime! It can be hard to balance sexy and classy in some of those scenarios!

Hi Bethany! I love all of your videos ☺️ A video idea that I think could be super great is a pant collection! I think it would be neat to see which pieces are your favorite, have had in your closet for years, and sizing! For example, it seems as though you have several sizes of Jesse Kamms, so getting a deeper look into that and the intentions behind the sizing would be fantastic.

Hey, ladies, The problem why you can't build an outfit is because you are missing out on some wardrobe essentials. Suppose you have the right amount of staple pieces. It's super easy to create an outfit.

Ever since I reduced the colours I have ie sticking to creams, blacks, blues & occasional pink.... I now find that I got many options of pairing, because everything matches everything.... You actually need less colours in your wardrobe to have more choices.

Love these outfits! They're so classy and beautiful but relaxed at the same time. For the longest time, I bought into the expected, corporate workwear style even though I was never comfortable or felt good in it (that and I live in florida - it's too hot for heavy blazers!). @@bethanyleonardo That is what I want too- a curated wardrobe of timeless, classy pieces. I just deep cleaned my closet and got rid of a lot of colorful and printed pieces. I kept the more neutral and simple pieces and just kept a few "fun/ statement" pieces. It will take me some time to build up my wardrobe again because basic and neutral pieces like yours are more on the expensive side
