You could have easily rounded the wood edges with that snazzy router and a 1/8th round-over bit. Then you could skip the edge guard.

Very cool. A lot of though went into that setup. However, here’s another thought. Propane gas is a liquid under pressure. If you invert the can as shown in the video, liquid propane will be expelled from the tank. You can’t run your stove, or any appliance with liquid propane. Tilt the can up to use the propane in gaseous form as it was designed to be used.
