I’m 100% ignorant on this but I have two young boys 5 and 7 and we are having a blast catching panfish. I want to start eating them. I just want to make sure as sometimes to a total new person obvious stuff isn’t obvious. So you cook that whole thing like that… fairly easy to pull bones and skin off after it’s cooked ?

My neighbor went fishing this morning and she just gave me about eight Crappie fish scaled and cleaned. This video helped me make up my mind as to whether or not I would try to fillet or not. I’m thinking that I will just be frying as is. I appreciate you for your time. Thanks!

Amen…. I only keep my catch if I want fish for supper. Be a lot more fresh fish if people exercised this mentality. We eat them whole by hand. The crappie is an extremely boney but delicious fish. You lose very little meat and have no bones if you fillet.

Take the cap off Corona bottle and run a dry wall screw thru it into your wooden handle of choice. Will peel scales of with a quickness. I get the head meat too. I just chop around the faceplate to keep head meat. And I snip out gills with hardware snips. Thanks for video.

@@ronniehenson4122 My conversation with the people I know that eat them whole is they NEVER LEAVE IT like Tom & Jerry bare unless they know someone is watching them which brings me to say I eat more of the fish when I filet it than they waste having it cooked whole.
