Hamsters are burrowing animals, that amount of bedding does not suit their need to burrow. You should have at least 6 inches of bedding for burrowing.

I love the video but I just want to add you should probably upgrade their wheel size and add more bedding. Also if you can you may want to separate them to prevent them from fighting to the death.

I’m sure you’ve seen the comments already and I agree but one thing that’s a different recommendation, is I would put in some more wood items for them to chew on, whimzee chew treats are nice also just things to help their teeth. A larger sized wheel maybe as well. Even though they are small their backs can curve and if you’re worried about them flying out, a enclosed wheel would be best :)

Good video, but remember to put more bedding in the cage :) And hamsters are not social animals, so maby keep them in too cages, because they will maby fight and end up with killing each other. And I will never take all bedding out, when i clean the cage, maby the half of all bedding :) (No hate) But you have very cute hamsters, and i like the video! :)

I just wanted to say that its not recommended to keep drafts together because they will probably end in killing each other but if you do decide to keep drafts together you MUST have a least 2 of everything, 2 food bowls, 2 water bowls, 2 wheel, 2 hides, 2 sand baths ext (and second cage if they start fighting) also the minimum cage size for 1 hamster alone is 450 inches of floor space and for 2 it is 900 square inches of floor space. No hate, but please buy separate cages for dwarfs, as sometimes they will fight to death and die a brutal, slow death. Here are a few tips for your hamsters. -If you have multiple hamsters in a cage, which you shouldn't, BUT, if you do, give them at least 2 wheels, which I see you have done, but the wheels are way too small. -Try giving them some wood chews, so their teeth don't get overgrown. -Much, MUCH more bedding. This amount is way to little. What I do sometimes is give them a really deep end, where all of their bedding is, and where their hides are. -Everything about this was stressful for them. Please, don't do this again in the future. -Bigger cage! This is way to small for 3 dwarfs. Petco does a sale a few times a year, and you can get tanks for cheap prices. I got a 75 gallon tank for 100 dollars. Please take these into consideration.

Hello I've just found your channel and I've been owning hamsters for 2 years now. I think you need more bedding up to the brim and get more hamster supplies like chew toys, more houses, etc. But I've also noticed that you over feed your hamster and that is a serious problem because the hamster could get diabetes. I reccomend 2 table spoons of food 2 or maybe 3 times a week. Thank you for reading this and I hope I helped out a bit. :)

Your hamsters r so cute! There is a problem tho, no hate just giving info. Hamster cannot live together it's fine when they're babies but when they get older they will start to fight each other until the last one standing. With my previous hamsters (I didn't know that they can live together) they fought until the smallest one died.

Your hamsters are so cute!! But your cage is pretty small and you need a least 5 inches of bedding and you put 3 hamsters together and they can hurt or even kill each other. And there isn't any chews in it. And, your sand bath is SO small they need a big sand bath. And the way you pick them up is mean. You give them the claw when picking them up. Thats nothing good. You sould scoop them up with both hands. Plus the wheel is too small. I would get a bigger one

I would recommend putting at least 6 to 10 inches of bedding in the cage. Also I don’t see any chews known as chew toys hamsters NEED THEM ! Their teeth won’t stop growing so that files them down. Also don’t put the hamsters in the same cage. Also what are they drinking? Is that yellow water? Idk and don’t just give them mainly sunflower seeds they will get picky and only eat the sunflower seeds.

Hi, your hamsters are very cute, but I can tell that they are not living a happy life! Here are some tips that might save them; 1. Please get them all individual cages!! Hamsters are solitary animals that need to live alone! Make sure all of the cages are at least 460 sq. Inches and I recommend one without bars because it lowers their chances of escaping. 2. When getting them all separate wheels, make sure to get them all 11 inch wheels!! Those wheels seemed way too small! 3. You need way more bedding than that!! Bedding should be at least 6-8 inches deep MINIMUM!! Hamsters are natural burrowers and they need a lot more bedding! 4. Their food is far too unhealthy. That is a lot of nuts and although nuts are food for hamsters, you should not feed them a nut everyday!! Nuts are more like treats and should not be an everyday diet. 5. Please make sure they don’t share the same water!! That can cause bacteria and when one hamster is sick, all of the hamsters will get sick!! 6. Do NOT hold your hamsters like that! You will be farther and farther away from being close to your hamster if you do that! You either let it come to you, or use a cup or another object to pick it up. 7. You need a lot more enrichment for them! They need different substitutes and texture! They also need branches and enrichment like that! 8. CHEW TOYS!! You need chew toys or there’s a high chance your hamsters teeth might overgrow! 9. PLAYPEN!! Instead of putting them in another empty cage, please put it in a playpen and fill it up, so it doesn’t look empty and the hamster doesn’t get scared. 10. Do not clean your hamsters full cage out weekly! Only clean their pee and ceramic homes! Believe it or not, cleaning out all of their poop every week can stress them out extremely! They use their poop to mark their territory and it comforts them. If they always smell a scent that’s not theirs, they will get very stressed. 11. I do not recommend a second floor.. hamsters are animals that need to stay on the ground. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE GETTING A HAMSTER AND IF YOU CANT AFFORD SOME OF THE NECESSARY MATERIALS, PLEASE DON’T GET A HAMSTER! THEY DESERVE A GOOD LIFE! Also, watching Victoria Rachel is a huge recommendation. She helped me so much with my first hamster!!💗💗

Please pick your hamster up differently, it’s painful and stressful for them (you can see the eyes are closed they’re in pain) and it’s really painful when someone hugs you too tight, that’s what these hamsters feel right now.

Just an adivise you should not completely sanitize your hamster cage bcuz it will loose the smell of hamster in it which might make hamster not to recognise their cage Also it was once experimented that when you completely remove their smell from their cage and put the hamster back their heartbeat is so fast and it took them 1 hour to relax the hamster

Please don't pick up your hamster in a claw type of motion, to them it's as if a great big hawk swooped down and plucked them off the ground. Instead, try cupping them with two hands. The cage is too small, and the bedding isn't deep enough. Also, if they're trying to hide or sleep, please leave them be. It's what they would rather do. As well as some chews (They NEED to chew) and a bigger wheel. Cute hammies though!
