This Is how I give my jewlery a good shine, I have not had any adverse side efects on the jewlery but you can try an item at a time. I hope nothing but the best for you and many blessings #clean#jewlery

This recipe works so much better than the ones with only baking soda and hot water. The addition of salt and scrubbing with the brush worked perfectly. Thanks so much!

Add soda first. Don't stir with jewelry in pan. this will scratch and/or tangle your pieces as they bang against each other. Gentle! Better one or two pieces at a time. turn over gently onto another place on the foil. I have to admit that I am cringing in dispair as you stir. But your heart is in the right place.

I use Connoisseurs jewelry cleaner ( one for the gold, in the red jar) on my silver. It makes Silver clean but does not remove the oxidation. A polishing cloth is also a good help.
@MakeupZombie7 жыл бұрын

Hi I just subscribed. I've seen this method on many videos. And it looks great! All my bracelets that are either silver or gold. ALL have REAL gemstones in them. So you put the ones with the stones in the baby shampoo mixt. WHY can't the ones with the Natural Stones go in the other mixture the only thing missing is salt and of course the baby shampoo? So is the TABLE SALT mixed with the BAKING SALT is that what makes it dangerous for the gemstones? p.s. I wish you would have showed the dried ring (in the baby shampoo mix) of that beautiful brownish Stone that looked like holographic colors in it.. it was gorgeous! They do so much with quartz nowadays. What's that stone some type of quartz?

What does the tinfoil do for the jewelry when cleaning?
@MakeupZombie7 жыл бұрын
Cinder Roxy that's a really good question, I saw my mom used this to clean her jewlery so is something I lerned from her, but is actually aluminium and salt that creates a reaction in the silver and polishes it.

I cleaned a marcasite ring with this method and the marcasites fell off. I had to have them re-setted and the new marcasites plus the job were more expensive than a proper silver polishing. Also the rest of the jewelry got a strange white build-up that was hard to clean. Just stop being cheap and get a proper silver polisher.
@nanaoseibonsu37985 жыл бұрын
You didn't do it well,simple.
@Dirtnap19864 жыл бұрын
@@nanaoseibonsu3798 This has nothing to do with her "not doing it well". This solution is for metal, not stones. Most stones would not be able to take this caustic solution. Hence why the lady in the video who even gave your comment a heart (smdh) didn't put her pearl ring in.
