If your staying with your parents you should really be taking advantage of the extra disposable income you have . But instead your paying about $1000 a month including gas . I believe your better than that . Don’t trade your time for money unless the money you own will work for you . Create a cycle where your money will return back to you by investing in it. You have the most value. Not the car . That means if you can buy a car like this . Just imagine with a little more effort what else you’ll be able to purchase . Think big .

I’m 20, got my RT in October. I’ve been saving money since 15 (when I first started working) but I really earned my money I got into the restaurant business. I worked my way up and at 19 I became a server and then became a server at 2 jobs I work 6 days only like 5-8 hours a day but made 200-300 in tips a day and it skyrocketed my money, was able to buy my RT and I’m get my apartment. Y’all it’s not “being built different” but mentality has to be to move forward, I have a daughter and she changed me mentally to move forward where I am today money, home, car because of her. Sometimes you need to find your reason and your life and world will change

See bro I have a credit score of like 760 and I put about $8000 down on a $42,000 Durango from 2017 in long story short the bank still couldn’t get it financed they were trying to hit me like 1200 a month due to my age so I just walked away I don’t have anything bad on my credit I’ve had my job for over 4 years and I make 60 ish grand with me and my wife we make around 130k idk the dealer ship said we had to slap like 10 bands down I was not messing with that and they still wanted 700 a month with that kinda money down at the end of the day I walked away I’ma save my bread and build a modern wagon a clean one cost around 10 bands and the front end swap and interior cost about five so for about 20gs flat u could get a coo as ride with about 400 hp with a few lil mods the 5.7 engine is a power house

If you decide to keep the car, you would've paid $40k plus whatever interest, so let's make it $45k, plus whatever you pit into the car in the way of repairs and modifications for the next 5 years... Dude, you are likely going to have paid around $60k for this car that won't be worth half that price once you finally pay it off... Hopefully, you have a better financial plan than this?
