Oh my goodness! Thank you so much for making this video! You have unlocked so many mysteries for me. I had so much trouble trying to make my first video that I ended up taking photos to make a stop-motion video. I also use my iPhone and selfie stick to do my videos. I have a shelf above my station that I’m able to prop the phone onto that overlooks my art. I just struggle with lighting so really looking at investing in a good light that will give me consistent lighting for my videos. Thank you so much for sharing the towel in a bucket idea though. That’s so clever!

Thanks very much! I'm trying to do some videos of handwriting on my desk with a fountain pen. I particularly liked your suggestion of leaning the tripod and weighting down or tying down the back, longer leg. Plus, your suggestion of anchoring a selfie stick in a bucket using a blanket or towel is brilliant. Thanks again. - Christopher

Great tips! I've just started making art youtube videos and didn't realise how annoying the camera cutoff time would be. Mine stops every 20 mins so it's better than 10, but I still miss it sometimes and chunks of my speed paintings are missing :( Great job though - loved watching this

Thanks for watching! There's nothing worse than checking your camera and realising it's not recording anymore!!
@heysupermanlook9966 жыл бұрын
Apparently the recording limit was set by the EU to differentiate between digital (still) cameras and digital (video) cameras so that different import tariffs could be applied. www.tested.com/tech/photography/44445-why-digital-cameras-have-a-30-minute-video-recording-limit/ As far as I can work out aspirations to apply WTO rules (no discriminatory taxes/duties) instead of EU rules still have not been achieved.

Hi Minnie, as an art photographer, thought I would give you some items you can buy to help with supporting items. 1) magic arms 2) clamps 3) sand bags - to hold a tripod steady (place on leg or in center column in needed. these items are inexpensive, go to a camera store and you should be able to obtain them dirt cheap.
