I don't think it's possible for a video to look better than that street diaries video, color-wise. It felt like being stuck in a moment with Joe. Cutting the pictures on beat made flow feel so smooth, and switching to b&w and back was seamless. Loved every second of it.

Just thought I'd throw this out there for anyone intrigued by the C70s whole per-record thing- Sony's FX6 does this as well for like 30 seconds ahead of when you click the record button! Absolutely insane. Great for discreet documentary shooting or one in a lifetime events.

Super cool, thanks for showing us the process! It's so cool to see. It's also really encouraging watching a videographer as talented as you and thinking, "wow I'm so far off from making stuff like that," and then seeing your timeline and realizing, "Oh, I'm actually not that far off!" Lol, obviously you are so talented and creative and you've spent years honing your craft, it's just encouraging. Thanks for the video!

Love that breakdown Eric, love the look you achieved too. I edit a lot of YT videos from photographers and also like to show photos with a white mat on a black background. Something I find easier is to add the mat in photoshop first by going to Image > Canvas size and picking a white canvas extension of 75 pixels on each side. I've stored this as an action so that it's really quick to repeat - hopefully it might save you and the team a bit of time in future 👍🏻

If you’re in DaVinci resolve you could also apply a color space transform to CLOG before you put the LUT on
