high iq tainted lost moments
I'm not even lying about the damage btw, bird's eye fires deal a maximum of 11x your tear damage before disappearing, which combined with my absurd fire rate near the end, goes well above 13,00 0 damage, asusming every fire hits the target. Well, it's a bit of guesswork to even calculate how much damage I ended up doing, but I'm prob in the ballpark, plus I like how the number looks in the title :)

Music from The Binding of Isaac: Antibirth music++ mod and persona specialist dance mod
Songs used: uhhh some songs by stevia sphere I don't really remember rn, plus I'm 50 minutes late for the upload
(frequently asked for) mods visible in the video: Neko Lost + Tainted Lost, "The Beast but it's my dad" mod, Specialist Dance, Dogma Brimstone Lasers, Damage Multiplier Stat, and "Regret Pedestals" (this is the one that shows you the blind item you didn't take). AND the time machine mod (the one that makes the beggar donations go faster). AND the unintrustive pause menu mod.
Look for a pause screen if you want the seed, I'm too lazy to put it here lol
Legit one of my most satisfying tainted lost runs to date... Ok ignore everything past this point, not because I'm late but because I want to shove as many funny item names as possible; plus nobody reads this anyways: Early bird's eye and brimstone have such HUGE c section tech x POTENTIAL (even though it's not as good as ghost pepper), although a bit of a change of plans involving sacred heart and a missed opportunity of rerolling items with the d6 made this run a bit more dangerous than it should have been, not to mention holy light's synergy with perfection's 10+ luck which just ended up melting everything I came in contact with. With so many angel rooms and the combination of godhead and proptosis, including the ipecac (dunce cap) I was basically guaranteed to find sacred heart, crown of light, and many other OP items that made this run a free monstro's lung win... And I'm totally not mentioning these items in the description just for keywords or anything, why would I ever do that? This paragraph is also ABSOLUTELY not copied from another one of my videos but with certain words changed to make sense in the context of this video, that would just be silly.

If my calculations are correct, at the Delirium fight he had approximately 21613 dps. As he had 16 luck, Apple was working on every tear, so usual tears dps is already: 84.54(dmg stat)*27.27(tears stat, which is tps)*4(Apple multiplier)=9221.6232 Then we count Bird's Eye. According to the wiki, at 16 luck it has 50% chance to shoot a fire that deals 4x, 3x, 2x Isaac's damage subsequently. So, if 4x and 3x damahe is dealt (we won't count 2x, because Delirium constantly teleports) we have: 1/2(chance)*84.54(dmg)*27.27(tears)*4(multiplier) = 4610.8116 1/2(chance)*84.54(dmg)*27.27(tears)*3(multiplier) = 3458.1087 Then, as he had Bookworm, 25% of the time he shoots 2 tears at once, so we multiply the dps by 1.25: (9221.6232+4610.8116+3458.1087)*1.25 = 21613.179375 I hope, I was counting correctly, if not, feel free to point at my mistakes)

@@user-mindmeld Apple gives the 4x multiplier, Bird's eye shoots flames with 50% chance while you're shooting tears, which deal 4x, 3x and 2x dmg subsequently before disappearing

i added the bird eye dmg and razor blade dmg and its around 3610.98 dmg razor blade = +400%dmg bird's = +400%dmg

What I don't understand is why don't you pick up the first key piece for the bonus angel room chance, and then reroll keys from there? You'll get more Angel rooms and therefore more opportunities to reroll that way.

I don't know more than a smidge about Isaac yet it's so entertainment watching your (suffering) videos about all these broken builds I've not an idea of what a Tainted Lost is but I can't help but move along with the shenanigans that comes with it Amazing editing too :)

if you want to learn more, i highly recommend watching hutts' stream vods here on youtube :) he stops to read chat and donos a lot, but he also shares what some items do and some of the unique synergies you can get. imo, he and lavencas are the best isaac content creators (i would include rage gaming videos, but he stopped making them a very long time ago)

Tainted Lost has no HP, so he dies in 1 hit always. In exchange, he gets way better items: HP ups and most defensive items can't drop, so you get way more of your other stats. Additionally, there's a chance for any card drop to turn into a Holy Card, which provides a shield that blocks the next instance of damage.

ok bro, the new soymilk+brimstone synergy changes make it totally worth it, it makes it so that when you have brimstone and soymilk, after a cetrain minimum your tears stat affects the damage and size of your brimstone laser, to the point that it becomes much more worth it to take tears ups rather than damage ups when you have brim+soy for how efficient it is

i want an endless mode in isaac where enemies and bosses just scale in health like absolute crazy and you eventually stop getting items entirely so that way you could actually make use of crazy runs like this instead of it being absolute overkill every single time.

Do not know if some already know this, found bug with forgotten, if you have extra laser, and shot it while switching soul, it actually stay, and shoot in one direction until you switch back. So you got double laser+tear.

For those curious how to find the numbers im getting, Im doing the equation of ((N-L)/L) x 100 (Where N = new number, L = old number) to get the percent's, and a simple N/L to get the multiplier. Im also putting the new and old numbers so that you dont need to check the video to see the numbers at all. I was surprised to see the fire rate got the highest cut of the bunch, spoilers. Speed: (Before): 2 (After): 1.35 A 32.5% decrease, or a .675 multiplier Fire rate: (Before): 44 (After):79.57 A 80.84-09(repeating)% increase, Or because thats far too long a number, a 1.808409091 multiplier (Roughly) Damage: (Before):3.04 (After): 5.05 A 66.118421056% increase, or a 1.66118421 multiplier (Again, roughly.) Range: (Before): 13.75 (After): 8.68 A 36.8-72(repeating)% decrease, or a .631-27(Again, repeating) Multiplier.

Cursed eye is not as terrible as people think. Only when your charging and shooting you can be teleported. so its a decent starting item.

I was half-expecting that Playdough Cookie to give you shit at least once. It's a good item, but I refrain from taking anything that has even a small chance of giving me Fire Mind directly to the face with T. Lost. It's the same reason I'll always second guess taking Fruit Cake too. Both are run-warpingly good, but have just enough unwieldy factors to make them scary pickups.

okay so, with 84.54 tears per second, and 13.8 DMG, your fires alone do 23333 damage with the first tick of damage assuming you always spawn them and they all hit, lets not count subsequent fire ticks, as that would drive me insane. furthermore, you have a 7.2x dmg multiplier from apple and tough love, so every tear does roughly 100 dmg, meaning you do 8454 dmg every second assuming you hit every tear. lastly, Jacob's ladder does half your tear's damage with every hit, so thats another 6.9 (nice) dmg per tear, or 583 damage per second. IN TOTAL: Your peak is 32370 damage per second, meaning that you can kill delirium in its original form in just 0.3 seconds. Sorry if my math is off, but im confident that I was on the spot with this one :D

Hey, I know I posted a comment recently about posting more average runs and I know why you said those wouldnt be watched, but would you say something different about something of a "struggle" run? Where the stars are not alignining, you keep getting into harder floors without comfortably powerful, but you still push forward and forward despite negative odds. Something like the Northernlion's dry baby run, where it's not the typical "what op synergy will we get this time" and instead "will he survive, he's so close to winning, please dont die". Not meaning the "generic" runs, where a win is not too hard and there's nothing too crazy going on

When playing as either lost you should go basement 1, 2, then dross2, then caves2, then mines2, then mausoleum 1 and 2, and finally womb 2 to maximize boss challenge rooms (for more boss room items). Frankly you should do that with all characters to maximize item rooms and shops, too, and if you get lucky there will be a secret room connecting to the boss challenge room. It always kills me when you go alt after floor 1. Thanks to nyantuber for the idea.

What a run, very nice! I can empathize with being a dumbass, every time I play isaac my brain just shuts off and I make terrible mistakes, only to realize what I had done seconds later, like going to depths instead of mausoleum, when I need the mother completion mark, or rerolling a hallway item right before a guaranteed angel room.

Somewhat overlooked combo, soy milk evil eye, the 3.33 chance isn’t very relevant when you fire 40 tears per second, and every time you shoot one it doubles your damage
