AND the time machine mod (the one that makes the beggar donations go faster). AND the unintrustive pause menu mod.
This is one of my most satisfying tainted lost runs to date. Ok ignore everything past this point, while I'm late for this upload... I also wanna shove as many funny item names as possible in here; plus nobody will read it anyways: Early bird's eye and brimstone have such HUGE c section tech x POTENTIAL (even though it's not as good as ghost pepper), although a bit of a change of plans involving sacred heart and a missed opportunity of rerolling items with the d6 made this run a bit more dangerous than it should have been, not to mention holy light's synergy with perfection's 10+ luck which just ended up melting everything I came in contact with. With so many soy milk angel rooms and the combination of godhead and proptosis, including the ipecac (dunce cap) I was basically guaranteed to find sacred heart, crown of light, and many other OP items that made this run a free monstro's lung win featuring edmund mcmillen (who also created super meat boy)... And I'm totally not mentioning these items in the description just for keywords or anything, why would I ever do that? This paragraph is also ABSOLUTELY not copied from another one of my videos but with certain words changed to make sense in the context of this video, that would just be silly. Wow, did you really read all of that? I'm proud of you.
Ok since nobody's gonna read this... I can say that I'm 100% changing my YT username to just "Laven" for 2 reasons:
1. I hate how people mispronounce lavencas, it's supposed to be just like "Lavender Castle" if you remove the extra letters, but a ton of people put emphasis on the VEN which sounds extremely weird to me and annoys me to no end
2. Some of you also seem to think the L is an i but WHYYYYYYY
I was thinking of rebranding to a different name entirely, but that's too much effort and a lot of people would be confused sooooo... yeah. Also fun fact the name lavencas was kind of a placeholder until I thought of something that sounded better, but my channel exploded way faster than I would've ever imagined and by that point it was too late...
Dunno when, but it'll happen (I've been saying this for month's lmao)
fun fact: most of the captions you see on screen are synced up to music beats, its a really dumb thing I started doing recently but it just feels... right? takes a whole lot more effort to caption this way but I can't stop now lol

Reminder that the first version of the lost had none of the advantages the lost or the tainted lost have now. The original version just had flight and died in one hit. No mantle, holy cards, ED6, D4, or even spectral tears!

3:00 hi lavencas, i actually went to the trouble of playing this seed today, and it turns out magic mush was in that mushroom you didn't bomb, and also sacred heart was there, and also a trapdoor leading to a crawlspace which had hemolacria and godhead and spirit sword and also a secret playable new character luigi

"How did i exhaust the angel room pool." okay lets do the math... when you rerolled the 5 items plus two keypieces that turns into 15 more angel room items.. but then you also had car battery so that INSTANTLY rerolled them as well. so roughtly translates into 35 ish items plus the ones you already went through.

It really shouldn't be that bad. Some of the problem items are Jacob's Ladder, and C Section. Way to fix it: Add in the settings to simplify the effects of the items. The babies created from C Section can be modified to not spin around as they're traveling, and Jacob's Ladder no longer spawns lightning bolts when it strikes enemies. Most of the lag and reasons the game crashes is because of the special effects from the tears having animations when you have so many tears, so if the devs just have an option for low-mid range PC's to simplify the tear effects, should be good to go, for the most part. You can already see the enemies are being damaged because their outlines blink when being hit, or they're knocked back some distance.

9:13, actually, you could have used The Fool? card to generate 7 pedestals (6 10x bombs, 1 quarter) and then taken them with you using moving box to potentially find a restock machine or perthro rune.

5:55 technically speaking the double godhead isn’t _completely_ pointless. With godhead the sprinkler is honestly usually going to be better than doubling an item down the line, and having two godheads means that you’ll get two Angel items if you reroll your items. Super niche, but I would argue that it’s actually the correct play

I've seen in last video that u said, u dont know when rock bottom will work with ur items or not, in my opinion its like this base value which is maximized by rock bottom is when u are in the same room as u picked the item, so if u leave room, it goes back in the value u were before u picked it, then if u want to get bigger stats than u had before, u have to increase the maximum value of the (for example) damage, it must be bigger than it was in recent room xD

fun fact about our favorite secret room pool item in antibirth, rock bottom used to reset you to base stats edit: i don’t fucking know if the above fact is true or false due to conflicting information but i’m gonna say it’s false but here are some more interesting facts - rock bottom was in the tinted rock pool in antibirth - experimental treatment can still lower stats in antibirth
