Wow Nobue! Your story is so encouraging. Thank you for sharing with us. I am inspired and I also see the LORD working all through your journey. I discovered your channel last week through “the cost of living in London”, video. I then later learnt you’re adventist through another video of your music playlists, and I was even happier. I’m so happy to be a part of your audience, to grow with you and learn from you.

Hi Nobue Thanks for the inspiring story. l am glad it worked out. Its a pity they admit foreign students but cannot let them practise. Anyway one of those things. At least you made the best of the situation.
@NobueKhumalo2 жыл бұрын
True! At the very least foreign students should be told on application. Thank you!
@bobojo85912 жыл бұрын
@@NobueKhumalo l agree. It would also open many spots for locals who might otherwise not get the chance, assuming there are lots of foreigners on the courses. Hopefully this is not a moneymaking scheme. At least with Medunasa etc they tell you from the beginning that only certain foreigners can apply. At least that's what my friend was told when he tried his luck.

@NobueKhumalo8 ай бұрын
Hi Sarisha, I’m afraid it’s close to impossible unless you go through the Linklaters African Clerkship and are successful. Google it and you should be able to find all the info. It’s really competitive though, the take 5 per year from all of Africa so you need to really stand out academically. All the best!

Hi Nobue. Sorry it's me again with them questions. I am getting confusing information. So I am set to qualify as an attorney in South Africa. I have secured Masters in the UK from 2023 to 2024. I plan to be a Solicitor in the coming years. I fully understand that I need to complete the SQE's to qualify as a Solicitor. Do I also need to do the Post Graduate Diploma in Law to convert my South African LLB into a qualifying Law degree in the UK? I was thinking that the SQE's will suffice. Kindly advise.
@NobueKhumalo Жыл бұрын
You won’t have to do that. The GDL was phased out from Dec 2021. So you’ll have to take the SQE route

Hi Nobue. I’m studying law in South Africa, currently doing my 2nd year. I wanna apply on Linklaters , is there an application fee that needs to be paid to apply? Hope you see this, thanks.
@NobueKhumalo11 ай бұрын
Hi there, no there is no application fee. Jobs or internships have no application fee, neither does this one. Applications will probably open around March 2024. All the best!

Hi Nobuhle. Can a South African qualified attorney obtain a Trainee Contract from a law firm in the UK after finishing an LLM in the UK?
@NobueKhumalo Жыл бұрын
Hie there. Qualified as in admitted or just qualified as in LLB from South Africa? If admitted no need to do a training contract, it just LLB yes it’s possible. PS. It’s Nobubele
@AbduladheemDayimani Жыл бұрын
@@NobueKhumalo Thanks. I am set to be admitted as an Attorney in South Africa sometime next year. I have accepted a couple of Commercial LLM offers in England Universities for 2013-2014. I thought this will give me an advantage towards obtaining a trainee contract in the UK. Am I heading in the right direction? I feel that an LLM degree and a trainee contract will give me vital experience for life as a solicitor. PS: Thanks for the correction
@NobueKhumalo Жыл бұрын
@@AbduladheemDayimani if you are already admitted you start work as a Solicitor then will have to write exams within a certain period of time. You don’t have to go through a Training Contract again because you did that when you did Articles in South Africa
