Hey Randy, I get my original painting scanned to a digital file then I create prints from that point. 👍🏻

Hey des how did you do the hair of the bear

Hey John, Everyone has there own way of painting hair textures but the way I approach animals with longer hair, like this bear, is to first paint an overall mid tone. I then locate all the deeper shadowed areas and build the hair outward from there as it reveals itself to light. I don’t bother with to much detail in the beginning. As I get closer to where I’m liking the overall look and location of things, then and only then do I start throwing a few highlights with a small tipped round brush. I don’t overdo that as I have found that it doesn’t take much at this stage to create the illusion of detail. I hope this helps John.
