great video! how’d you study for usapho and how long did you study for (starting from a basic understanding of physics)?

Thanks Siva! In the beginning, I felt like I needed a bit of hand holding from people who competed in USAPhO, so I went to a summer camp run by AlphaStar Academy (who have great training programs for all olympiads by the way) the summer after Grade 10. Once school started, I learned more from KZfaq and practiced lots before qualifying for USAPhO in the middle of Grade 11. The time between qualifying and learning physics for the first time was probably a little over a year. Hope this helps!

Can getting an internship in one of the biggest tech companies in my country, completion of CS50x, some courses of Data Science provided free from Harvard boost up my profile? How effective will these be?

They’d definitely help for good CS programs. Just make sure you’re able to demonstrate your passion for tech in your essays :)

Have you met any students from Stuyvesant, Bronx Science, Brooklyn Tech, or Boston Latin at your school? You got into Cambridge University in the UK😳. Your resume is very impressive IMHO 🤔

@@lintechofficial Well I attended Brooklyn Tech, and I watched the Documentary try harder recently, based on Lowell High school in San Francisco, and I was shocked by the outcome for most students!

@@lintechofficial I recommend you look up Christy Jensen from Boston Latin college acceptance video. He was one of the most impressive individuals who got tons of rejections (which pissed him off). However he did get into Harvard EA (Boston Latin is feeder school for Harvard).
