This is only for your reference as doing the exact same thing may or may not achieve the same result as admission is always holistic. Wow, like my theacher today gives my a little motivation, like idk, i too nervious about the future, but also exciting, like a love draw, and i wish to be animator, so that for all. I don't understand some things about what are u tell me, cause i live in Colombia, so, i know that uc, but i like inspired me how could u get in, despite we're not in the same country xd. But thank u, i happy 4 u. Actually i graduate in november, and i have a really important test (it's ICFES, if u wanna check it out uwu) about so many things and so worried about, like i want to dream and succeccs, and idk i searching a uc for animation and in conclusion i'm so worried and about my future. pd: i like i your videos, i hope someday we can talk in the spanish-server

Hey, I’m planning on going to Taft College for the first two years and then transfer to one of the UC or CSU schools because Taft has a transfer admission guarantee with these schools. Any advice? Also which community college did you attend? Cheers

Best of luck, it helps to make sure you’re taking all the proper coursework for transferring and to take any extracurriculars that relate to your major. Get as many good grades as you can on your major department courses. I went to Diablo Valley College. Hope this helps

Hey Kaye, thank you so much for this video. I'm planning on signing up for DVC and then transferring to UC Berkeley, and I was wondering if you can share how was your experience studying at DVC?

Maybe I can give insight because I went to DVC and got admitted to Berkeley (haven’t committed yet). DVC really sucks socially but I think it’s good academically. TBH I don’t think DVC prepares me for the rigor of Berkeley.

@@omarzaifulizan3064 can you be specific talk about the good and bad of DVC? I'm still torn between DVC and PCC and SMC. I saw on the website that DVC has a relatively high acceptance rate for Berkeley.

hiii I think it’d help to have >1300 score but there’s no SAT requirement at UC Berkeley

I have a question.. when applying to UC schools as a transfer student .. does going to work full time and showing you can have good grades & work full time does that factor into their decisions for admission?😊

Definitely! I heard UC admissions put that in high regard since it can be a lot to balance both working full time and doing college. Shows your work ethic and responsibility to do both and still do well

hey，thanks for sharing. Can I ask if the gpa is a rounded gpa? I see u have got some Bs but is still a 4.0, is it like 3.9 is equivalent to 4.0?

The classes I got Bs in weren’t related to my major so I would say the department gpa is 4.0, but my cumulative was 3.8

@@kaye. Can I ask if the final GPA to be submitted can be chosen between department gpa or cumulative？Is it like you can choose whatever to show them？（just that in my transcript i saw that it has all the grades together in one page）

I wasn’t able to chose which gpa to be shown, I think what’s shown in the transcript as cumulative would be submitted
