Hi, thank you for this video! I am a junior in high school and I am Ed ing to William and Mary, it’s pretty much the only school I’m very interested in. My gpa is a bit lower than the average for William and Mary, but I do have very interesting extra circulars that I think makes me stand out. My freshman and sophomore year grades weren’t the best, but it improved IMMENSELY this year so I really hope they see that improvement more then my overall gpa. Really hope for the best!

thank you SO MUCH for this. william and mary is my dream school and i’m applying there ED. i have to submit my application in a little over a week and i’ve been freaking out, but you really helped me to put things into perspective. also, does william and mary release likely letters to early decision candidates, or is that only reserved for regular decision applicants?

I’m a rising senior and William and Mary is my dream school. I actually just did the virtual interview with a senior yesterday. I’m just worried I don’t have the stats. I never had a chance to take the Sat and I got a D in chem and C in math junior year. I’m in an advanced academic program and have always had a really hard course load but I’m worried the D and C will be an immediate rejection. I think I have really strong extracurriculars though. Any thoughts/tips?

Hey! Just focus on having a well-rounded application and grades aren’t the only factor at all! If you have a chance to take the SAT or ACT you should def do that, but don’t worry too much💗 Everything happens for a reason and you’ll end up where you belong!

Thx for the vid if you’re reading this gabiburgfit, but like she said everything happens for a reason. Here are my stats WGPA: 3.56 and SAT: 1150 so not high but I’m at w&m. College common app essay has to be unique, it’s all I have to say gl!

Pelagie Ky I’m Pre-Dental majoring in Kines, so my pre dental courses need to be taken before my Kines! I’ve taken 2 Kines classes and loved them though💗 sorry can’t really add much more lol

W&M is my dream school and I am def applying this fall, but do you think my chances would be lesser if I applied regular decision rather than early decision? I am oos and the cost is a huge factor for me so I don’t want to commit to an expensive school early on without considering other options! I really wish they had early action :(

It may lower your chances a tiny bit, but just focus on having a well rounded application and you’ll be fine!! Everything happens for a reason, you’ll end up where you’re meant to be💗

I applied to W&M, VT, UVA, and CU Boulder! The rest were safety schools for me because I applied ED1 to w&m so they didn’t matter much💗
