In this video I share the vertical jump program I wish I had when I started learning how to jump higher. It's 3 months long and will help anyone build strength and become more explosive. I hope this helps you get some bounce

I gained 6- to 7 inches many years ago doing nearly similar training over about 4 months. It was hard, the best my legs felt and totally worth it. Sadly I couldnt keep up with it because of other goals but glad i checked off being able to grab rim and nearly dunk. had a few taller guys at the BBall gym say "man you got some hops". makes you appreciate hard work athletes go through like yourself and also I appreciate basketball more now. Cheers, Colin. thanks for the content

great video as always! its so cool seeing how interdisciplinary these kinds of exercises are between different sports. for example, we do a lot of these leg stretches in marching band where the focus is more on endurance rather than power, but you still end up with a strong set of legs nonetheless. that really goes to show how important stretching is, i guess. also the dog reveal was a pleasant surprise! sophie is adorable!

Beautiful video Colin🌹.. this one is a real tutorial on jumping.. did not realize the types of exercise that would improve jumping high.. amazing! The box jumps are beautiful to see.. so high you jump.. pretty close to flying it is! Love the pogo jumps .. would not call them silly .. I would call them fun🤗 And then the power-clean.. this is majestic.. I would think seeing yourself do this would help you appreciate how far you have come Colin.. And seeing you do all those high jumps and dunks on the court made me cry.. have followed you for a long time.. what you have accomplished is awesome .. what you do to help others follow YOU is truly beautiful! Btw.. Sophie is such a sweetheart ❣️ Jen999💙

Hey Collin, thanks for the video! I am a pretty good jumper, since I have been playing basketball for ages. I am 6ft3 and I can dunk. However, I feel I have a lot of untapped potential on this end and, personally, I really want to windmill it! I have never worked out with weights, but I tried squatting, and I can comfortably get 3x5 with 120, maybe even more. Should I first try getting my squat (and deadlift) up to the mid 200s before giving this program a go? Or should I just run it with lower weights?

Supersetting squats and box jumps means only one set of squats followed by one set of jumps, then repeat that 5 times? Or it means also that you don’t rest between the squats and the jumps?
