Great video. Just remember people that FBA costs will take from your profits. A $7 product may cost you $5 in FBA fees. Per unit!! So dont sell anything under $25 if you want to make money.

OK, many factors are involved with FBA or FBM fees. Weight, dimensions etc... Ideally you want to sell an item for at least 9 dollars but under 25 does not mean you aren't making great money. a small light item from 9 to 25 could make good money. Do not make claims without all factors.

Great video Travis! Thank you. Have you got anything on the point right after you list your first product. I have one listed but it has no buy box or price showing. From what I have read it's because I'm new and it takes time, but that seems counter productive. How do you gain traction if you don't sell anything and how do you sell anything if you don't have the best listing possible?

Hi Travis, it's another very useful video, thanks for your effort. If I have four products plan to sell in a box for 6 bags, so it will be four different box, and may do mixed box with four products into one box, should I use another UPC for the mixed box? Can I list product with UPC as ID, no need to get ASIN? When I only have samples in hand, the product imagine will be a little bit different, can I just use the picture for now and change it later? Hi, thanks for all the valuable information great video! At the moment we are days before our starting the mass production of our product. To save the 30 cents for labeling, we want to print the FNSKU label directly on our product. We do not have the product images yet, but we would like to create the listing and get the FNSKU now to send the FNSKU to the supplier to integrate it on the product. The question is: Is it possible to edit the already created listing as soon as we have the images or does that change the FNSKU code? In general, does any later adjustment of the Listing have impact on the FNSKU code? Thanks in advance!

Do you have a video that goes through product variations? I'm setting up a product that will have multiple flavors but could also be sold in a 1 pack or 3 pack. When I select flavor in Seller Central it doesn't allow me to also select number of items.

Hi Travis, you said that we will be the manufacturer even if we use a third party. When un-gating a product, does this also apply (where you select if you are a distributor/reseller, manufacturer, or both)?

The problem I run into is our product is our own, no one takes you through that listing process. The second problem is we manufacture our own products. Made and sold at our company. I canceled our first listing because it came out with none of the listing info on amazon on the right side of the listing (Price, Free Delivery, Instock, ADD TO CART, BUY NOW, Secure transaction, Sold by us, Return policy: Eligible for Return, Refund or Replacement ... All we had was See other Options if you clicked on that you saw our price and shipping location. PLUS our list only showed up if you typed in the exact title? Can you explain any of what happen... Thanks your tutorial helped a bit on some of the problems.

How do you figure out an exact date to launch your new brand/product? How do you coordinate that with when the manufacturer is done with your final bulk order, it gets shipped & received by Amazon, to when it’s available for sale? this was awesome. Quick one if i may: if you decide to sell as no brand, I see the system then wants you to confirm it is a "generic" item and that leads to a rabbit hole of proving you have permission from maker of item to use the UPC that you chose. For eg, I got some bolts of fabric from a going out of business sale, I cannot find the manufacturer at this point (no label either). What should I do here?

Hi Travis, thank you for the super helpful videos! I have a question: I opened my Amazon professional seller account 3 months ago and my product arrived at the Amazon warehouse just today and appears as available to purchase. The problem is that when my product appears on the search results the price is not showing. How come? I've read that not everyone is granted the featured offer functionality but what I don't understand is how I can build sales and earn the right to have the product price shown if almost all sales on amazon come from featured offer products. I have a product that I am selling on amazon. It's not illegal in the US, but I don't want Amazon to shut down thinking it's illegal. The TSCRK is a phrase I don't want to have in my Title or Description because it is a controversial buzz word. But I still want this keyword linked to my product. Where do I put the keyword? Seems like a validation issue. You can open a case about this and submit documentations to them to prove that you are the owner of the code

your contradicting yourself. in this product listing video you said you need to have your brand registered through brand registry to add the brand name and it be valid. However in your brand registry video you said you need to add a product listing first to get your ASIN. This is frustrating and very confusing. I keep getting the error code 5661 when trying to list the product. Any answers to this?

Travis, you are giving out incorrect information regarding listing Generic products. If you list your product as Generic, yet it is your own creation, as you suggested to your viewers, you will receive 8572 Error code and Amazon will require you to submit both a UPS Identifier Certificate AND a Letter of Authorization that you are authorized to sell your product. This was designed to catch people that do exactly what you told them to do in your video. This lead to much confusion and delayed product listing for our first product. You should be a bit more careful in how you direct your audience to proceed in areas that you are unfamiliar with.

Around the 6 minute mark when you are talking about Brand Names. You mentioned that if you do not want to go through Brand Registry, just click the button and it won't show your brand. Well, as I mentioned, that now triggers 8572 Error and a painful process of dealing with Amazon Help. It took over 9 messages to them for me to figure out on my own that if you click that button, you are triggering the Generic Product process and will require a letter that gives you authority to distribute your product. I would eliminate that part of your video as it will open up a rabbit hole for anyone who follows that direction with their own unique brand. Other than that, I found your videos most helpful.

@@TravisMarziani Yes, we were one of the first to provide content for their DIY section in the UK. Problem is trying to add new products which we have hundreds. Amazon's stance is that if its not already listed in the catalog to clone then they make it almost impossible to put forward new items. Yes, we have all the product identifiers but they now insist on a brand name but wont allow me to use the same one they already have for us on the system. I have a registered trade mark but that's not good enough somehow. Have now given up with it to concentrate on our own sites.
